Very disappointed over the last 2 weeks. Tonight could not eat my burger was raw in the middle. We made contact with the store manager who said they had new staff not really an excuse for raw meat. The previous week they just didn’t deliver a burger no credit dispute saying they would. We have in the past enjoyed our dine in experience but take away is dangerously bad
Beautiful outdoor setting to eat and enjoy the warm autumn air and an amazing busker playing incredible folk tunes on his violin. Sadly it’s sonic torture to sit listening to nasty r n b music on their outdoor speakers in one ear and the amazing busker in the other. Music seems to clash with the retro vibes and designs of an old American diner. The fries were great but not the biggest serving. . My vegetarian burger came out with bread buns stone cold and the thinnest tiniest slice of tomato and one leaf of lettuce I’ve ever seen. For nearly $17 for just the burger, the quality and effort were simply not there. Tables and chairs had some crumbs all over them when we sat down and bun was overflowing. . Hopefully it’s just an off night as it’s a nice location with beautiful decor. .
It's not a nice experience to purchase food with hard earned money and have it arrived burnt. If your staff can't do the job, get rid of them. Disgusting quality. Got a cheeseburger and Noosa surf burger and both badly burnt. Food was cold but that's an Ubereats fault and have complained. Really sad to see this level of quality in Australia, especially from Betty's. I hope the executive team get involved and look into the Hornsby site. Clear your staff out of they cannot maintain your brand. Very disappointed.
Hands on Mate! Reuben did an excellent Job in handling our order and gave us a good suggestion on what we should get, I am happy with the food here and would recommend Betty's Burger for anyone who loves burgers and sweet potatoe fries
I wish to make a formal complaint regarding my experience at your restaurant on 23 July When I attended your store, I attempted to pay with cash using a $50 note. The staff member serving me initially took the note but was unable to provide change. She then approached the manager for assistance. After speaking with the manager, she returned and advised me that cash could be accepted as long as I had the correct change. I relied on this information and walked to Coles to obtain the correct change. When I returned with the exact amount, the manager was present and I was then told that the restaurant was actually card only due to an issue with the safe and that they were waiting for a replacement part. I explained to the manager that this was not the information I had been given. The staff member had approached him first, received instructions from him, and then communicated those instructions to me. Instead of acknowledging that incorrect information had been provided, the manager attempted to shift responsibility onto the staff member by stating that she was new. I found this particularly concerning because the staff member had done the right thing by seeking guidance from her manager before responding to me. Blaming her for the situation was unfair and avoided accountability for the information that was communicated to me. I also felt that the explanation provided by the manager was inconsistent with what had occurred and left me feeling that I was not being treated honestly or respectfully. A manager should take responsibility for decisions and information provided by their team, especially when a staff member has sought their advice. The way this situation was handled demonstrated poor leadership and communication. Additionally, there was no visible signage advising customers that cash was not being accepted. If there was an operational issue preventing cash payments, this should have been clearly displayed so customers were not inconvenienced. The main issue is not simply that cash could not be accepted; it is the lack of clear communication, the unnecessary inconvenience caused, and the way responsibility was handled afterwards. I request that this matter be reviewed, that staff receive clear guidance on communicating payment restrictions, and that management reflect on how this situation was handled with the customer and the staff member involved
