OMG, Smashzilla = Big Mac + elevated. Remember back in the days when Macca's had kitchens that pan fried the beef patty? The big Mac's back then with the special sauce, onion, cheese, lettuce etc... Then over the past few years, the patty is cooked, like steamed or microwaved or something... There's no slightly charred edge on the meat from Macca's. But they had their special sauce. My fellow mates, the Big Mac replacement with the maelid reaction surface, plus a sauce that is so close to the big Mac, and it being double layered. This is the one. Yes the shop moved further down and replaced the kebab shop, so the venue needs a bit of Reno. But the burger is good. Chips is double fried, so it's crunchy and soft, even when cooled. This is a great burger, it hits the soul of the Big Mac like no other. I am going again to get another Smashzilla... It's soooo good.

I had a great experience at 80/20 Smash Burgers—the vibe was really energetic, more of a takeout kind of place, though they do have a few tables. The staff were super nice, and the burger was bursting with flavor. One small downside was that the Smashzilla burger unexpectedly had a bun in the middle, even though the menu didn’t mention that. It threw me off a bit, but aside from that, the flavor was still fantastic, and the loaded fries were a real highlight—super filling and definitely a cheat meal worth trying. The total came to $37—$18 for the Smashzilla burger, $15 for the large loaded fries, and $4 for a diet coke.

The burgers were tasty but quite sloppy from the sauce, cheese and oil. The chicken wings were okay, nothing particularly special. Overall, not bad, but a bit too oily for my liking.

We recently visited Eighty Twenty Burger in Kogarah, and it turned out to be a fantastic experience from start to finish. We ordered one grilled chicken burger, one fried chicken burger, and a serving of regular fries. Both burgers were absolutely delicious, each with its own unique taste and texture. The grilled chicken burger was juicy, tender, and full of flavor, with the smoky chargrilled taste adding a nice depth. The fresh toppings and soft bun complemented the chicken perfectly, making every bite enjoyable. On the other hand, the fried chicken burger was crispy, golden, and incredibly satisfying without feeling overly heavy or greasy. The crunch of the coating with the succulent chicken inside was spot on. The fries were also a pleasant surprise—crispy on the outside, fluffy inside, and seasoned just right. They paired really well with the burgers and completed the meal beautifully. Apart from the food, the service was excellent. The staff were quick, friendly, and efficient, which made the overall dining experience even better. Our order came out fast, and everything was served hot and fresh. Overall, Eighty Twenty Burger in Kogarah is a great spot for anyone craving quality burgers with fast and satisfying service. Highly recommended!

Came for lunch around 1pm on a Wednesday. Food came out pretty quickly. Fresh, hot and delicious. We ordered the 80-20 Classic burgers and a regular loaded fries. Loaded fries are so good note to self next time, just order the large fries and maybe the Smashzilla to enjoy more of the yumminess.
