Tried Grill’d in Leichhardt and it’s definitely one of the better fast food options around. It is a bit on the pricey side, but the quality makes up for it. I had the Oscar Piastri Wagyu burger and the Oscar Piastri Chicken burger with chips — both were fresh, well put together, and packed with flavour. The Wagyu was juicy and rich, while the chicken burger was solid and not dry like you get at a lot of places. Chips were crispy and well seasoned too. Overall, not your cheapest feed, but if you want something a step above typical fast food, it’s worth it.
First thoughts. This place is expensive. $16.90 for a beef, cheese bacon burger. $6.90 for chips. $4.90 for a Pepsi and $1.50 for a 2/3rds full sweet chilli mayo dip cup. So $30 roughly all up. Burger size was ok. Herbs and spice sauce doing a lot of heavy lifting on the taste. Patty was barely lukewarm so it didn't feel fresh. Chips were also barely lukewarm and not freshly cooked with a lot of broken small crumb chips. Sauce was nice but not full. Drink was nice and cold which was a positive. Service was slow but they were working hard. Overall very expensive for a very average burger and an extra $13 for chips and drink is ridiculous. I was expecting a lot better from a place like this.
Enjoyed the burger and chips. The staff were friendly and efficient. Great place for a quick lunch.
I came in today with my family and we got a couple of the wagyu burgers. They were a little on the pricey particularly for the fast food quality of the place. In saying this, the atmosphere was humble yet enticing and the service elevated our esperience! Angeliga in particular was very attentive and brought our food with a smile. Overall would recommend this burger joint in Leichhardt
Quality has dropped in recent months. Most recent burger not wrapped. Bun is often cracked. Tenders usually burnt.
