Dropped into High N’ Dry for a takeaway burger and walked out already planning my return. The place has a seriously cool retro vibe. The kind that makes you want to hang around even if you’re just grabbing food to go. The staff are incredibly friendly too… genuinely keen to make sure you have a great experience. I wasn’t sure what to order, took their recommendation on the special and it absolutely paid off. It was ridiculously good. If the takeaway was this good, I’m very keen to come back and actually sit in next time.
This place is hidden but so worth going. The burger was so incredibly delicious and even though you order through a QR code the service is still highly friendly. I couldn’t recommend more and I’ll definitely be going again. Also, they do amazing weekly specials on their instagram that are worth keeping an eye on!!
Love coming here, and not just for the food. They have amazing decor and a specific picture that captures my sisters' likeness perfectly. Eating here always feels like home.
I'm a regular here at H&D for over a year now. They are THE best burgers + Tenders in Sydney. There's a weekly special burger to mix things up so you know this place is trying to keep creative. I like heat, so I always order HOT Nashville and there is a spicy option for the tenders too. The Beef Burgers aren't smashed, they are a Wagyu Beef with a special sauce that hits & which I always ask for extra 👌 My Takeaway order tonight- Single Burger + Hash Brown, Kentucky burger, HOT Tenders + Fries. Dont know how rate this place. Burger excellent. Yet paying nearly $20 for cold loaded chips is an absolute rip. What a shame. Ive never been more disappointed when a Burger joint cant provide decent sides. I paid $17 for tiger fries to get cold chips and a measly container of becamel and aioli.
