Restaurant is along main eatery street of Parramatta, Church street. It’s within walking distance from Railway, light rail and bus stations. There is no parking however plenty of nearby paid parkings. First time here after walking pass so many time. My son loves Italian and today is his pick. Foods that we ordered coming in large plates so it is valued for money. Food is about presentation, taste or smell. If food looks good then it must be good. Same with smell.
We will never eat here again. We ordered Chicken Pallea, (when asked if it has chorizo in it, the waitress had no idea what I was talking about and couldn’t even repeat what I was asking to the chef. I had to ask him myself) which came out wet and soggy, like an over cooked risotto. The beef and truffle linguine, it had absolutely no truffle flavour whatsoever, I sent it back to the kitchen and replaced it with the truffle chicken burger. The truffle sauce tasted as if it came out of a praise diet range. I didn’t even eat it. My daughter had the smashed burger and multiple times had to spit out gristle bits from her burger. She ended up feeling sick in the end. The fried chicken wings, were overcooked and dry. The waffle fries were probably the only half decent thing we ate. Save your money and eat elsewhere. A complete disappointment. No wonder they make you pay upfront, they probably know that people would walk out if they knew better.
We celebrated our daughter’s Sweet 16 at John Belvedere and had such a wonderful experience. A big thank you to the entire team for being so friendly, welcoming, and supportive throughout the event. They made everything run smoothly and made us feel very comfortable from the moment we arrived. We were able to set up all our decorations on time, and the staff were very helpful and accommodating. The food was also fantastic — everyone enjoyed it so much! Thank you again to the whole team at John Belvedere for helping make our daughter’s special day so memorable. We truly appreciate your great service and hospitality. Will definitely come again for our future events. Thank you
Loved the food here! The burgers were juicy, well-seasoned, and tasted fresh. The fries were crispy and not overly greasy, and the portion size was pretty generous. I also liked that there were good sauce options that actually added flavour instead of just being there. Great vibe and excellent customer service Definitely Worth coming !!
1st visit 30 May 2026 Came here for early dinner. We were greeted by a friendly staff member who took us to our table and brought us menus. When we were ready to order, we called him over and we were advised that we had to order at the counter or using the QR code. Given the prices, I expected someone to take my order, like they do at Criniti's. Once the order was placed at the counter, the side dish came out without the chips, along with one main dish. It took close to 10 minutes for the second main dish to come out with the side of chips. The dilemma, let the food get cold? or let my wife watch me eat? The ragu rigatoni was tasty, but the meat a little dry. The ossobuco was bland and the mash was chunky and poorly seasoned. Chips were average, and wings were ok. During our meal, the woman behind the counter was speaking very loudly to the staff in what seemed like a scornful way. Maybe they had made a mistake which needed correcting, the manner was very poor for a public establishment where people want to enjoy a meal. Overall, the venue is well presented. There were some common Mynas which were intrepid enough to walk inside and then flew over our table and then landed on the table next to us. Food was average at best, well presented but not worth the price tag. Service was not very good, given the pay first approach, and domestic-style staff management. I will not be coming back to this place, I don't recommend it.
