Visited for a weekday lunch. It wasn’t busy and the food served quickly in less than 10mins. We ordered big brother Nash burger ($20.9) and honey soy wings ($12 for lunch special and $17.9 regular price). One serve of wings is 8 pieces, but funny enough they were all drumsticks. Brioche was used for burger, was nice and soft with the sauces and cheese. However it still feels a bit overpriced for a two patty and bacon burger. The flavour and taste for the wings is not bad, but the regular price $17.9 is also not cheap. Thinking KFC $1 wicked wings… but yeah, may not be a fair competition. The special price is only available on weekdays according to the blackboard. The restaurant is clean and tidy with a nice casual vibe. Staff is friendly and helpful.
I don't give 5 stars for food lightly... but Nash has certainly earned them with their great tasting food!!! I'm always suspicious of chicken and burger joints as the quality and consistency can be a bit hit-and-miss. So imagine my surprise when give have Nash a go and found it to be DELICIOUS! The chicken was so awesome I asked the manager about how it was different. This eventually led to the chef coming over. The chicken they use is a special type that I can't remember the name of, that has the smaller bones removed before preparation and cooking. This means I'm not picking through chicken ribs to get to the meat. All I'm left with is after a half or whole chicken meal is wing and thigh bones. This, coupled with the chef soaking the birds the night before, make their chicken moist and delicious on the inside with a crispy fried skin on the outside. My eyes glazed over as the chef described the types of chickens used and the preparation process. I could genuinely see he was proud of them! Nash also do great burgers, steak sandwiches, salad and fries... but I think the start of the show is the chicken. Never had a bad meal here and always a pleasure to eat, whether I'm hungry or not! Recommend!
Finally made it, after wanting to try Nash for so many months. We were pleasantly surprised. Burgers are big, generously filled with big patties, lots of brisket and the hot dog was on the larger size too. I got the brisket burger and net York hot dog. Brisket burger had an amazing smoked and bbq flavour, juicy beef and quite dense. This thing was packed with quality ingredients and was heavy to pickup. This was one of the best brisket burgers I’ve had, coming in at 9/10. The hot dog was nice, soft Frankfurt and bun, though I would have liked more cheese sauce as I like it cheesy. I give it an 8/10. Overall including the great service, polite staff and how quick our order came out, 8/10 for Nash. We look forward to returning to try more options including chicken and chicken burger.
Ordered takeaway and left seriously disappointed. We ordered the Sydney City burger meal (with chips and drinks) and a kids’ fish and chips meal. The burger patty itself was average at best - nothing memorable - and the $8 upgrade for chips and a drink felt expensive given how small the portion of chips was. Definitely not good value for money. The kids’ fish and chips meal was very disappointing. $13 for three tiny pieces of fish and a small serving of chips that looked and tasted like something straight out of a supermarket frozen food section. Overall, the food was overpriced for the quality and portion sizes, and I wouldn’t recommend it. The only positive was that the staff were friendly, which unfortunately wasn’t enough to make up for the experience.
I ordered a fish burger thinking it’s going to be a fish fillet naturally and got a burger with fish fingers and a non melted cheese. I won’t recommend . And yes I brought back the dish to the counter and made a complain. A male staff said he wasn’t allowed to change the dish . We ordered nachos and was very mediocre. Train your staff properly instead of giving customers low rating.
