First time visiting Hot Pot City. For $25 per person on a weekday lunch buffet, I think it’s very good value. The six photos attached show all of the food available for the weekday lunch buffet. The selection isn’t huge, but there is enough variety, including meat, vegetables, mushrooms, tofu products, fish balls, noodles and fruit. Everything looked fresh and clean, and food was refilled quickly when trays started getting low. The vegetables and fruit were especially fresh. Soup bases and the sauce station are included in the buffet price, which is great. The staff were friendly and even came over to refill our soup during the meal. The shopping centre also offers 3 hours of free parking, which is convenient. Overall, a solid hot pot buffet at a reasonable price. I’d come back again. 👍🏻
If you’re the type who likes having a huge variety of ingredients without the massive headache of prepping it all at home, this place is a solid option. The best part is definitely the selection—they have everything from various fish balls and seafood to a ton of different noodle types and veggies. It’s way easier (and cheaper) than trying to buy 30 different ingredients for a DIY hotpot at home. That said, it’s not perfect. The beef quality was a bit of a letdown, especially the "Wagyu" which didn't really live up to the name. The dessert station is okay but nothing special, and you’re pretty much on your own for service—you’ll need to grab your own water and utensils. One annoying bit was the seating. Even though the place wasn't full, the staff kept insisting tables were reserved and pushed us into a pretty noisy corner. Nobody ever showed up using the reserved table(s).....
We had a wonderful dining experience at Hotpot City Bankstown. The restaurant offers an extensive all-you-can-eat buffet with a wide range of fresh ingredients. We chose Tom Yum and Laksa as our soup bases, both packed with flavor and perfectly balanced. From the buffet, we picked Wagyu beef, prawns, seafood cakes, noodles, greens, mushrooms, baby corn, tofu, carrots, and tomatoes. The freshness and quality of the meat and seafood were impressive, and the variety of vegetables and noodles made it easy to customize each bite. We also tried the crispy chicken wings, which were perfectly seasoned and crunchy. The sauce bar was another highlight, offering options like sweet chilli, garlic, sesame oil, mushroom sauce, satay sauce, special Korean sauce, and dry red chilli, allowing us to mix and match flavors to our liking. For dessert, the restaurant had a vibrant dessert bar featuring shaved ice cream, jelly, and fresh fruits, which was a refreshing way to end the meal. Overall, Hotpot City is a fantastic spot for an interactive, flavorful, and halal-friendly hotpot experience, ideal for groups, families, or anyone looking for a hearty feast in Sydney.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A fantastic place for hot pot! There’s a huge variety of fresh food to choose from, along with a great selection of different soup bases to suit every taste. I also love the wide range of sauces and condiments, so you can create your own perfect dipping sauce. It's especially great during winter and the perfect place to enjoy a delicious hot pot meal with family and friends. Highly recommended!
Casual dining place. Individual soup base. 10 to choose from. I had laksa. Yummy! HOT! Great selection of food to cook in your own hot pot. Loved it 💕 our group was 8 & the choices suited everyone.
