We had a great dinner at Corner 75. It's a really cool spot with lots of interesting dishes and drinks on the menu. We had the làngos, goulash soup, pork and paprika sausage, pork schnitzel, nokedli and creamed spinach, followed by the Zserbo torta. Everything was really enjoyable. It feels very traditional and authentic, and service is fast, friendly and professional. We were seated at the bar, and looked after by Toni. She had great knowledge of the food and wine menus, was bubbly, friendly and gave us lots of helpful tips to help enjoy our meals even more. We would highly recommend.

The LP pork sausage & paprika and lesco and the cherry dumplings with custard were the best things we tried. The sausage had such a good kick to it and a great smokey flavour. The cherry dumping desert is well worth pushing through to make some room for it. The cocktails are strong! The atmosphere is charming, like stepping into an old school family home. Servers know the menu so well and great at recommendations. Schnitzel was a tad dry but still good.

Came here for my 30th birthday dinner with my best friend and had the most incredible time! The atmosphere was so welcoming. A huge drinks menu with something for everyone - decent menu that was well explained and the staff were so so beautiful and we felt extremely looked after! We had a bit of everything - I can really recommend the langos (just get the side of salmon roe) the crudités were beautiful and the desserts were all *chefs kiss.* Also.. a shout out to the amazing paint job in the toilet haha. Thank you Paige for looking after us, we will recommend to everyone and cannot wait to be back! 🌸

I have been coming to this restaurant for well over a decade. I USED to love it! It reminded me of my homeland, my mum and my grandmother's cooking, but at a restaurant level. My wife and I finally decided to check it out since the new owners took over about a year ago and friends of ours wanted to eat here. I must say I was disappointed with the entire experience. The place was abuzz with guests, so it must be popular. After all, people must read the good food guide reviews and all that stuff. However, I did not hear one Hungarian conversation the whole 2 hours we sat there. There were (from memory) at least 4 wait staff to handle service to the front and back rooms, all probably backpackers or students with none having any knowledge of Hungarian other than a few words (dish names, poorly pronounced at best, too). The first young girl that came to serve us asked about drinks and had no idea that the day we visited (March 15) is a significant public holiday in Hungary, commemorating the 1848 revolution. They had no idea about tradition, culture, history or anything to do with Hungary. The young fellow that took over was pleasant, courteous, and kept coming back every 10 or so minutes to refill the table water glasses for us. The noise was too much to have a decent conversation without talking loudly, and the music playing was some crap R&B or rap, which was so untraditional and inappropriate, that it was actually awful. I've posted pictures of the food we ate, and our bill, so you know we paid. Paid too much, if I can be brutally honest. I had duck liver parfait for entre, 1 tiny lángos, small bowl of gulyás soup, veal schnitzel with potato salad and red cabbage, and the apple strudel. I also tasted a few of the other dishes my wife and our friends ordered. I'll comment on my food. 1) duck liver parfait - was very tasty actually, (8/10) 2) lángos was good, but geez, 6 bucks a piece for tiny fried though is insane. The waiter kindly suggested he'd throw an extra one on the entree plate, as there were 4 of us, but only 3 pieces of lángos. Then they even charged for that extra piece individually! WOW! (3/10) 3) gulyás soup was ok, nothing to write home about, not enough flavour (4/10) 4) veal schnitzel was tough and the crumbed coat just slid off the meat, it was awfully done. (1/10) 5) potato salad was in a tiny bowl, and it tasted sour, not very good to my palate (3/10) 6) red cabbage had me excited, but it was nothing like the traditional, sauteed Hungarian red cabbage, which is soft, has a slightly sweet flavour. It was crunchy, savoury, kind of sour, too. (2/10) 7) apple strudel with vanilla flavoured cream, this was actually really freaking good, I have to be honest. (10/10) The fact there was no mashed potato, or parsley potato sides to accompany mains is just plain wrong. When I saw cucumber salad, I got so excited, because that is such a great dish when prepared authentically. The waiter warned me (thank God) that it was not like the traditional version. It had mint and other herbs in it. I did taste it, as my wife got it, but it was not nice at all. I don't know who reviews the restaurant, or how they got the winning title, but they should remove anything to do with Hungary from the walls, the pictures, the memorabilia and just call it a restaurant. It has nothing Hungarian about it, sorry guys. Like I said, it was overpriced for what it is, and any Hungarian who knows Hungarian food will tell you there is hardly any Hungarian left in this place. There must have been no Hungarians reviewing this place. I can certainly see reviews by fellow Hungarians who all seem to agree that since the new management took over, the quality of food has gone downhill. It has. Anyone without Hungarian tastebuds have no idea. 40 years of Sydney history down the drain. I am never coming back, even if I was offered a free meal. No thanks. Sorry.

Great vibe, feels like you are stepping into a little pocket of Hungary. It is a small restaurant so feels nice and intimate and is always packed. Make sure you book ahead as it is usually booked out. The soups were a highlights, get the mini size to try them both. Everything tasted incredible and isn't a meal that you would get many other places in Sydney. A must try. Staff were super friendly and fun and would give recommendation on both the wines to try and food combos! Is a bit more expensive but worth it for a great date night.
