Had the chance to try this restaurant’s food through catering at a friend’s birthday party, and it was genuinely impressive. The food was fresh, flavourful, and well-balanced. The dal was rich and comforting, the paneer dishes were soft and perfectly cooked, and the sweets were delicious without being overly sugary. The standout for me was the palak mushroom it had a unique taste and was absolutely spot on. Everything felt thoughtfully prepared, and you could tell quality ingredients were used. Even in a catering setup, the presentation and taste were maintained really well. Overall, a great experience. Would definitely consider ordering again or visiting the restaurant in person.
At Castle Taj, these two dishes didn’t just arrive at the table they really stood out. The chicken chowmein was full of flavor, with perfectly cooked noodles coated in a nice, smoky sauce. The chicken was tender with a slight char, and the fresh vegetables added a good crunch that made every bite enjoyable. It had that classic street-style feel, but done in a more refined way. Then came the paneer tikka easily the highlight. The paneer was soft and well-marinated, with spices that were balanced and not overpowering. The slight smokiness from the grill gave it great depth, and the peppers, onions, and hint of lemon brought everything together really well. Overall, it was a great combination one dish comforting and satisfying, the other bold and full of flavor. Definitely a meal I’d happily go back for.
I recently went to Castle Taj and had a really lovely experience. The chicken dish was beautifully presented, rich and creamy, yet nicely balanced with a fresh, crunchy salad. It wasn’t too heavy, making it perfect for a relaxed meal, though it may feel a bit mild for spice lovers. Overall, a great place with delicious food—definitely a 5/5!
Hubby and I came for a dinner date for the first time, everything was really good. Food , service and hospitality was on point. Will definitely come again.
From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcomed. It's a genuinely friendly, community vibe. We celebrated our anniversary here, and it was perfect. They even surprised us with a complimentary dessert!
