Must try their mutton biryani with chicken 65. Was soo good. And in terms of flavour, quality and quantity best ever. Just need to find parking space nearby but their customer service and food was excellent. Highly recommend and it’s 100% halal
Pathetic Chicken Noodles, took 30 mins to complete my order and gave just the boiled noodles with strange smell with no chicken. Definitely not going back for it !!!!
I recently visited Deccan Flavours in Auburn, and overall, my experience was fairly good, though there’s definitely room for improvement. The restaurant has a vibrant, family-friendly atmosphere and the staff are generally courteous and attentive, though during peak hours, service can feel a bit rushed or inconsistent. I tried a variety of dishes including the Chicken 65, Hyderabadi Biryani, and the Goat Curry. The Chicken 65 was crispy and flavorful, a good starter to begin with. The Biryani had authentic spices and a decent aroma, but I felt the rice was slightly overcooked and the portion of meat could have been more generous for the price. The Goat Curry had a nice depth of flavor. Pricing is reasonable compared to other Hyderabadi-style eateries in the area, and the menu offers a wide range of options for both meat lovers and vegetarians. The cleanliness of the dining area was acceptable, but I did notice that tables weren’t cleared very promptly after diners left. This made the place feel a bit chaotic during busy hours. Overall, Deccan Flavours offers a good introduction to South Indian and Hyderabadi cuisine in Auburn. I’d recommend it for casual dining, especially if you're craving some spicy, home-style Indian dishes. With a little attention to consistency and speed of service, it could easily become a top spot.
Solid place for good biryani. Restaurant is small and homely. Staff was friendly and quick service. I ordered the mutton biryani. The rice was warm, fluffy and fragrant. Mutton was tender, flavourful and right amount of spice.
I ordered a bucket of hyderabadi mutton biryani for $100 through my sister who went to order and picked up for our staff party for the next day. I opened the bucket today during lunch. All I see was just rice which was almost 80% of the bucket and 20% mutton which is also mixed with rice. I call the store to let them know i was unhappy but instead of taking a constructive feedback a very rude staff said you dont know anything about the biryani. I am a biryani lover and I cook it myself . Looking at the biryani we received It was not even a hyderabadi biryani at all. Some so called cook put mutton gravy in the bottom and flavored rice on top. The meat was not even 1 kg . Do you really thing it is $100. It’s a complete rip off. Please do not support his place at all. The quality is poor, customer service is beyond joke. Staff and manager are so rude.i am not going back to this place at all. And I request all the community member to not spent in this place at all.
