Had lunch at Dharma’s Amritsari Dhaba, Penrith and really enjoyed the experience. The food was full of flavour with authentic Punjabi dhaba-style taste, and every dish we ordered was satisfying. The staff were extremely courteous, welcoming and attentive throughout our visit. Pricing was quite reasonable for the quality and portion sizes offered. Another advantage is the easy street parking available nearby, which makes visiting convenient. Overall, a very pleasant lunch experience and we will definitely be visiting again soon. Highly recommended for anyone craving good North Indian food in the Penrith area.
The food was amazing, fresh, and full of authentic flavor. The staff were incredibly sweet and welcoming. My daughter absolutely loved the noodles, and the Amritsari kulcha was delicious. The saag was fresh, authentic, and perfectly complemented by the white butter. We’ll definitely be visiting again!
Dharma Amritsari Dhaba is a true hidden gem! The service was incredibly friendly — staff made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. The food was authentic and full of rich, traditional flavours that instantly reminded us of home-style cooking. The atmosphere has an old-school charm that adds to the experience — it’s not trying to be fancy, just genuine and full of character. The only small thing to note is that the doorbell could use replacing, but that’s minor compared to the warmth and quality you’ll find inside. Highly recommended for anyone craving real Amritsari flavours served with genuine hospitality!
Ordered Medium Butter Chicken & Hot Madras with Garlic Nan and boiled rice. Was absolutely amazing flavour and authentic food. We have other Indian restaurants nearby but this would have to be the best by far. Will definitely be back and bringing our kids next time. Telling the waiter we were watching a movie afterwards and he turned on the music to create the theme for us oh and his special moon walk was hilarious. Great personality. Met the chef which a beautiful lady she was with alot of talent appreciate your efforts today. Thanks for our lunch.
One of the best Indian restaurants I have been to in Sydney. The food is amazing. We had Delhi style butter chicken, chicken biriyani, mutton and desert (gulag jamun and rad malai). It is not easy to find such tasty Indian food in restaurants in Sydney. We are planning to come here at least once a fortnight.
