Randomly came across this restaurant and ordered momo Nepalese dumplings. They tasted very good, and the best part is the outer skin, which has the perfect amount of chewiness and is not mushy at all! Upon talking to the owner, I learned the momos are made fresh daily and cooked to order, which is why he tells you there is a 20-minute cooking time when ordering. Hands down one of the best momos I have ever tried. Will surely come back, and thanks for the nice food.
The food here is to die for! Best Lamb Korma I've ever eaten, the chicken Lababdar was beautiful, nan bread nice and fresh, and the platter for 2... well THAT alone could be a full meal.. 😋 all absolutely delicious! The staff were all super friendly and attentive, really beautiful establishment, super clean and modern. Highly recommend and we wont be going anywhere else for Indian food after coming here.
The food quality was acceptable, but the service was very disappointing. The staff lacked professionalism and basic courtesy. They did not serve water properly and did not make guests feel welcome or respected. Hospitality and customer service are essential in the food industry, and unfortunately, my experience fell far below expectations. The staff would benefit from better training on how to interact with and serve customers. I hope management addresses these issues to improve the overall guest experience.
Organised a function for 80 people at Lababdar after a few trial runs earlier. Everyone loved the food, from the Momos, to the chicken tikka, Palak Patta Chat, Veg Korma, Chicken Lababdar, Madras Prawn Curry, Palak Paneer, Mango Lassi and more! Mocktails were very nice too. Setting is very nice at the Piazza section of Top Ryde Shopping Centre. Staff are consistently polite and attentive. Sushil and his family are very considerate. Will be back.
The food here is not good. It's divine. The staff are friendly, polite and helpful. The restaurant is beautiful and it is noticeable that plenty of effort and thought was invested in the design. Everything is super-fresh. Prices are reasonable. It's a premium restaurant. Bring your boyfriend/ girlfriend / husband / wife if you want to impress them and have a "wow factor". I would give it 7 stars if that was an option. Love it !!!
