This was my third time coming to Mehfil Restaurant, and honestly, this visit was terrible. I came back because I had decent experiences before, but the food quality this time was shocking. The Kadai Chicken was extremely salty and overloaded with spices. Instead of enjoying the chicken, all we could taste was salt and masala. The Malai Tikka was completely tasteless and dry, lacking the creamy flavor that Malai Tikka is supposed to have. The Tikka Wrap was just average and nothing special. Looking at the food, it seemed promising, but the taste was a huge letdown. We left disappointed and felt like we wasted our money. The consistency of the food has clearly dropped compared to my previous visits. I don't usually leave negative reviews, but management really needs to pay attention to quality control. If this had been my first visit, I would never have come back. Very disappointing experience and definitely not what I expected from Mehfil.
This takeaway was a total rip-off! ๐ค I paid $53 for what was supposed to be a Chicken Karahi with naan, but it was basically just red chili soup, not even worth $10. ๐ก They clearly just reheated some achaar chicken. I'm never going back and I definitely don't recommend it to anyone. ๐ โโ๏ธ #Takeaway #Disappointment #Food #Review
Was filled with people, seems quite a popular place for tea and sweets. Tea was good. But had too much sugar in it, all of us had to throw away half the cup because of too much sugar in them.
The chicken biryani is excellent. There is a bit of a wait, but it's absolutely worth it since it's served fresh, unlike Student Biryani, where I've occasionally been served older biryani. The rice here is far superior, and the aroma is simply delicious. My only complaint is that I ordered takeaway, and the amount of chicken was almost invisible. A little more meat would have made it perfect.
We ordered biryani and garlic naan, but the garlic naan didnโt taste like garlic naan at all it tasted like a normal dry roti. Also, the Chicken 65 biryani came with the chicken and rice packed in separate boxes, which we have never experienced before. Unfortunately, both dishes didnโt taste good. Overall, it was quite disappointing
