Wonderful service by the lady - she explained to us how they usually prepare the food and regularly checked in with us on how the food was, whether it was too spicy etc. we got to choose the spice level as well (as other Indian customers), which was the first time among the Indian restaurants I’ve tried in Sydney! I was curious how they adjust the spice level so I asked, and realised that they prepare each biryani as it’s ordered so they are all freshly made! The biryani and butter chicken portion was very generous. The butter chicken sauce was also super generous - usually I feel like I have to ration my sauce but this time I could spam it on my food 😂 My husband prefers dosa hut’s flavours but I’m honestly quite happy to have this great option so near our home with great service - happy to return again!

After loving our first taste of Mughal Palace Epping on Uber Eats, we decided to visit in person, and it didn’t disappoint. Epping on a Friday night was vibrant and buzzing, setting the perfect tone for the evening. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed and able to choose our table, which was a lovely touch. The service throughout the night was attentive and genuinely friendly, and the food? Absolutely delicious, just as good (if not better) than our first order. It’s a fantastic space whether you’re dining as a couple or with a group. Highly recommend giving it a try and supporting a great local business.

Mughal Palace in Epping is truly something special. We’ve visited several times now, and every single experience has been exceptional. The food is consistently outstanding, full of rich, authentic flavours that remind you of a home‑cooked family meal — which makes sense, because it’s a wonderful family‑run restaurant where you can feel the care in every dish. Some of our absolute favourites are the Palak Paneer, Butter Chicken, and Chicken Tikka Masala. Each one is cooked to perfection: the Palak Paneer is creamy and comforting, the Butter Chicken is beautifully balanced and full of flavour, and the Chicken Tikka Masala is always spot‑on with its spices. Their curries are honestly some of the best we’ve ever had. The service is just as impressive — warm, friendly, and genuinely attentive. Whether dining in or ordering takeaway, everything is always fresh, delicious, and reliable. We’re consistently happy with both the food and the service. If you’re in Epping, Marsfield, Carlingford, or anywhere nearby and craving amazing Indian food, this is the place to go. Mughal Palace never disappoints. Highly recommended!

The Amritsari Fish and Chicken 65 were absolutely delicious! Both dishes were packed with flavour, perfectly cooked. The Amritsari Fish was crispy and seasoned perfectly, while the Chicken 65 had the perfect balance of spice and tenderness. Highly recommend. 🍽️😊

Just after half past nine on Saturday evening, I entered this restaurant alone. There were no other customers. An Indian lady politely explained the menu to me. Though I've never been to India, I truly felt the essence of India there. It was absolutely delicious. I shall certainly visit this restaurant again.
