We ordered a banquet menu (min 2 person) for four and there was PLENTY of food. We tasted a wide variety of food and it was such a feast. The environment was quiet and we were able to have good conversations. The food feels authentic to me (because I’m not Indian) and enjoyable. I will bring my Indian friends there next time to try out. The mango lassi is delicious too. It’s a halal restaurant.
I had a take away order for Dal Makhni and Butter Roti. While eating Dal, I found this sticker inside it. This was my first and last visit to this place. Update on the owner’s reply - 30 May 2026 Do you mean to say that I deliberately added this sticker to my meal? Anyways, I just wanted to share my experience with others. May be I was the lucky one to get the “fortune sticker” in my meal.
Easily one of the best Indian restaurants nearby Epping. The food taste is amazing and true to the Indian tastes. Portion sizes are good enough to share. They serve with a swiftness and smile making you always feel welcome and taken care of. Chicken Tikka served on the sizzler tray is not to be missed..one of the best we had. Excellent veg options too...with Karahi Paneer and Chickpea curry having the right rustic feel to it to make it go perfectly with the extra soft garlic naans. Have already become a regular visitor of this place.
First time and loved it. From the Mango lassi with a scoop of vanilla ice cream .. to seek kebab to the curry and naan and finally warm gulab jamun with ice cream….. everything was amazing. The locals should try here before heading out to Harris Park.
I frequently use Santoor in North Epping for take-away and really enjoy their food. My menu favourites are Mustard Fish (unique and delicious!), Goat Curry, Chicken Tikka Masala, Saag with lamb or beef, Mixed Seafood Masala and -- perhaps best of all -- the "chef's special" Balti Curry (again with lamb/beef for me). I always order the spice level at hot (even for vindaloo!) and it has never been overpowering for me, despite the fact that I'm Irish. :) I haven't yet eaten in, as I live nearby, but the venue and table settings always look very attractive when I'm picking up. The take-away servings represent good value, too: one mains plus a pulao rice does me for two evening meals. Fast (usually 15 mins turnaround) and friendly service -- highly recommended!
