Been coming to Petok Petok Chatswood more often lately and honestly they’ve improved so much compared to when they first opened. The food presentation is way better now and the taste feels a lot more authentic Indonesian too. I also love that they have special menu items every Thursday, so there’s always something different to try if you miss Indonesian delicacies from home. The staff are super friendly and bubbly which makes the experience even nicer. Another big plus is the price, definitely more affordable compared to a lot of other Indonesian restaurants around Sydney! Highly recommend if you’re craving authentic Indonesian food in Chatswood!!

Came here with a few mates for lunch, this place is buzzing - clearly a local favourite. I went for the Madurese duck and it absolutely delivered. Crispy skin on the outside, while the meat stayed juicy, tender, and packed with flavour. Properly done. The black sauce is amazing. My mate ordered the vegetarian Padang meal - curried jackfruit, cassava leaves, eggplant, and egg balado. and it looked just as impressive. Big, bold flavours across the board. Great food and solid portions. Definitely will come back.

This place offers that type of flavours you can only find in tenda pinggir jalan 🫶 fast, yummy, just like the home street. Ordered Taliwang and it was moist and flavourful. The satay is a little bit on the sweeter side. Took Nasi Goreng Gila for takeaway. This surely brought back nasi goreng tek tek taste to the tongue👍

Wow! Just wow! If you want to taste and Indonesian, homemade meal, this is the spot for you! Had a plate from the pre-cooked section and it was divine. The rendang was melt in your mouth and the spicy squid were the stand outs. Go early as the pre-cooked meals run out quickly. You can ordered cooked meals too. Super friendly staff too.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again — Petok Petok Restaurant is hands down one of the best Indonesian restaurants in Sydney! This time we tried the pecel ayam and the bihun goreng seafood. The flavors were authentic, rich, and seriously satisfying. The sambal hits just right, and the seafood bihun is packed with flavor. Juara. Fix. No debat!
