Warung Pojok is a tiny Indonesian restaurant on the edge of Campsie’s ANZAC mall. Dominated by a glass counter, the compact dining room is famous for nasi padang, a West Sumatran rice dish. The counter means you can order it “pilih” where you point and choose. Opting for nasi Padang paket B ($17) with beef rendang sees us also receive a piece of fried chicken, a big, pale corn fritter, cassava leaves, red and green sambals, and a drizzle of curry sauce. It’s presented on banana leaves and brown paper, and amounts to more food than you’re likely to finish. For a more compact meal, bakmi Kalimantan ($17) is a chewy, yellow egg noodle dish. It evolved in Singkawang in West Kalimantan, a coastal city where there has been considerable Chinese immigration. So expect a Chinese dish adapted to suit Indonesian taste. The toppings include char siu (red pork), fried wontons, fish cakes, prawn cakes, and fish balls, with a gentle chicken broth you pour over. The on-table chilli sauce takes it from mild to wild very quickly, necessitating a dabble in their drinks list, where nothing is more than four bucks. Keep in mind it’s a cash only business.

Really good Indonesian food, we tried a few dishes and all were yum and authentic tasting. The place is very small with limited seating and payment is by cash or pay ID. I recommend the noodle dishes and siomay

Got so into the food that i forgot to take a pic before eating 😔✊️ Anyways, love this place, ordered like 4 dishes and total came up to ~$90 ish. Best place to eat indonesian food. Food was good and very flavourful. The restaurant only had 4 tables inside and 2 tables outside so probably not ideal for parties of 5 or more unless you wait. Staff were very accommodating though. Can pay by cash or payid which was very convenient. I would say food taste was on par with other Indo restaurants. Portion sizes slightly less, however prices also slightly cheaper. Customer service was wonderful.
