The octopus salad recommended by the staff was delicious and stayed tender even over time. The pasta was a bit disappointing, and I ordered the steak rare, but it was a bit tough. Still, overall it was pretty good, and with BYO, you can save $4 per person, which is nice. It looked busy on weekend evenings, so I’d recommend going around 5 PM.
I came here on Saturday evening because my best friend recommended this place to me, and I’m so glad they did. The atmosphere was incredibly welcoming, and all the staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help! I ordered the pasta with a little bit of chili and bacon, and it was absolutely amazing — such an incredible flavour experience. My friend ordered the seafood pasta, which was something truly extraordinary. The flavours were rich, fresh, and unforgettable! For dessert, we shared the tiramisu, and it honestly ended up being one of the best desserts I’ve ever had. If you ever come here, you simply cannot leave without trying the tiramisu experience! I will definitely be coming back. This place is a true Italian gem, and I don’t want to forget it. A big thank you to everyone who made my experience so special — and especially to Natalia, my best friend who works there and recommended me this amazing corner!
We love dining here, especially when Mandy is looking after us. Her service is outstanding, and the food is consistently fantastic. We always look forward to coming back.
My fiancee and I were visiting Sydney and were craving some Italian food and found that there were so many around in one area. Bar Reggio looked to us to be the friendliest and most genuine restaurant of them all and we couldn't be happier in our decision. We both had Olives as an entree with a pizza for myself and pasta for her. The service was amazing with our server being very attentive and the food arriving quickly. The entree and our meals were amazing, I cannot emphasise how much we enjoyed our meals and the ambience of the place. When my family visits us from the UK or when any of our friends visit Sydney from up the coast there will be one restaurant on top of the list of our recommendations: Bar Reggio.
Food is very good. If you want a bottle of wine you need to buy from a pub close to the restaurant. Place is loud for dinner. But I will definitely recommend this place for the food
