Baron staff was very welcoming and prepared everything for us. We got a liquor shot each head for my special occasion birthday party so it was hugely thankful. We had a lot of fun. Quick service. Friendly staff. Satisfying food and beverages. The prices are lovely too! It was amazing place for my small cozy birthday party with my family and friends. This space may suit for a group under 15 with booking, otherwise small groups walk-in will also be just fine.
I ordered the Kid’s meal and asked for a different sauce. I wasn't informed that it would cost extra, and I'd appreciate it if this could be adjusted or explained." Spaghetti aglio e olio - the spagetti was lil soggy and the taste was weird and lil spicy. Penne Carbonara- Kids love it. Chips: Lil Soggy but still okay.
Came here on valentines. Food was quite good, however the cake was underwhelming - although it looked beautiful, it tasted really soggy and wet :( Unfortunately I also found a bit of hard plastic in my carbonara… Staff also were a little confused on the day - our dessert was given to us first before our entree and main, and we received our mains last before any other table who had ordered after us - only after following up with them too.
This prominent Italian Cafe restaurant overlooking the open piazza next to the station is a great find in downtown Strathfield. It's always a pleasure to try the classic smashed avo with a unique twist, and Barone didn't disappoint. Their version is served on two small light and crispy toasted crostini slices, and the added Spanish onion pieces in the mashed avocado added a unique flavour to the dish. Poached eggs are an optional extra. Staff are friendly and efficient. Overall, a very pleasant mid-morning dining experience.
The coffee is top quality, and the staff are excellent and very friendly. Alina and Nancy always take great care of customers and their orders. The other staff members are also very kind, professional, and welcoming. Highly recommended!
