Is this the best value cafe sandwich lunch in all of Sydney?! I'm shocked this place isn't rammed with customers taking advantage of the delicious and huge portioned turkish sandwiches with fries. We ordered a Chicken & Avocado ($12) and a BLT ($11) plus a Coke Zero ($4). We were served straight away and brought a bottle of table water. Our lunch was served very quickly and we were gobsmacked about how huge the portions were and the price! In the BLT there were 2 whole rashers of bacon, a fried egg, swiss cheese, tomato and mixed leaf salad. The chicken breast piece was spilling out of the other sandwich, felt like half an avocado, swiss cheese, mixed leaf salad. Shoestring fries perfectly cooked and hot and nicely salted. Ketchup bonus was a nice touch. Neither of us could finish it all. The coke was in a tall glass with ice, had been poured from a larger bottle but had good spritz to it. Staff were super friendly. Extensive menu which was a mix of Italian and modern Australian and all the cafe favourites. They also had a dedicated breakfast menu and lunch specials and specials of the day. Lots of outdoor seating which would be lovely in warmer weather. Everyone lining up for 2 hours for paninis at that place in Five Dock... come on over and give this cafe a try - you will leave with a jolly good feed.

Loved the chili cheese and honey bread!!! Pasta were good, huge servings. Lamb cutlets were well-cooked and seasoned. Tiramisu wasn’t the best though. But would still recommend this place to friends because of the appetisers, pasta, and mains. Service is good too! (We dined late and was a big group)

So yum!! Always get the schnitzel sandwich as it is my favourite and it is such good value and so fresh! Always great specials on offer as well. Service with a smile and a local gem.

Very nice cozy italian restaurant. Tbe food was amazing. Starting with bruscheta(my sons favorite tonight) and mussel casserole that were the right kick off. Main didn dissappoint too. Perfectly made penne and rissoto made our night. Thank you!

We always love supporting local cafés and restaurants, and I truly wish I could give this place a glowing review. Unfortunately, considering the prices and the location, our experience was quite disappointing. Before getting to the food it is worth nothing the service was very good. We started with the bruschetta as an entrée. It was very bland, lacking seasoning and olive oil, and the bread was cold, not what you would expect from such a simple and classic dish. For mains, we ordered the seafood platter ($35), which included grilled fish, seafood, chips, and vegetables. The ratio was quite off there was an overwhelming amount of vegetables, about half a portion of chips, and not nearly enough seafood. The oysters were particularly disappointing; six were served, but only three were edible as the other three would not open. If oysters are being served, they should be checked to ensure they’re suitable to eat. The calamari and fish were also very bland and lacked flavour. The vegetables were cut very large and took up most of the plate. It came with only a very small amount of sauce, which felt unusual for an Italian restaurant and didn’t add much to the dish. The Pollo Marsala was unfortunately the most disappointing dish of the night. The chicken and sauce tasted bland and slightly off. Again, the vegetables were in very large cuts, with mostly cauliflower and just one carrot. The mashed potato was the only component that was enjoyable. The sirloin dish was average, not terrible, but not memorable either. Overall, it wasn’t a pleasant dining experience. As we were there with my parents and had company, we ended up leaving fairly early. I genuinely believe the owner would benefit from revisiting the menu and focusing on improving flavour, presentation, and quality especially given the strong competition in the area offering excellent Italian food. We truly wanted to love this place, but unfortunately, it didn’t meet expectations.
