Had an amazing experience at Capriccio Osteria in Leichhardt. The whole restaurant has a relaxed and intimate atmosphere that makes you want to stay for hours enjoying good food and wine. Staff were genuinely friendly, attentive and made us feel welcome from start to finish. We ordered the ravioli, pizza and red wine, and every single thing was delicious. The ravioli was soft, fresh and full of flavour, with the butter sauce, crispy sage and hazelnuts working so well together. The pizza was one of the highlights of the night perfectly cooked with a light fluffy crust, great texture and generous toppings. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients in every bite. The wine paired beautifully with the meal and made the dinner feel even more special. What we loved most was how balanced everything tasted. Nothing felt overly heavy or greasy, just fresh, comforting and authentic Italian food done properly. The rustic setting and warm lighting also added so much charm to the experience. Definitely a spot worth visiting if you’re in Sydney and looking for quality Italian food with great service and a cosy atmosphere. We’ll absolutely be back again to try more dishes next time.

Had a great lunch here and tried the Truffle Menu ($79pp). Amazing value with pizza, pasta, entrée and dessert included, and the portions were very generous. Loved that fresh truffle was served and shaved at the table with each dish. Everything was delicious, the service was excellent, and the whole place had a warm, family-friendly atmosphere. Will definitely be back !

First came to Capriccio Osteria about two years ago, and I’ve been coming back every now and then ever since. I’ve always loved dining here, but yesterday was my first time visiting with my dog, which made the experience even more special. I order the Amalfi pizza every single time I visit, and honestly, it’s the best pizza I’ve ever had, no exaggeration. Their beef carpaccio never misses either. This visit was also my first time trying one of their pasta dishes, and it was absolutely delicious. Usually, I go for the beef carpaccio with truffle during truffle season, but this time I decided to try the truffle cheesecake. Surprisingly, the truffle paired incredibly well with the cheesecake and made for a unique and memorable dessert. The food is consistently excellent, the atmosphere is lovely, and all of the servers were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend coming here if you’re looking for great Italian food in Sydney.

We had a delicious Sunday lunch at Capriccio Osteria in Leichhardt. Started with a very fresh grilled octopus and crispy potatoes. Then had a salad with rocket, radicchio and cos lettuce. Main was a pizza with cherry tomato, confit garlic and stracciatella. All dishes were very well made and put together. Finished with their divine tiramisu. A great place to visit for a casual Sunday lunch.

Cold winters night outside, but the food and the service here was just sensational. Greater warmly by the server and was efficient with the drinks and food order, making sure he got them right. Warm smile the whole evening, great experience overall. The Squid Ink Spaghetti with Blue Swimmer Crab was amazing, as was the Pumpkin & Ricotta Ravioli… could eat them every day. The Dulce De Leche Panna Cotta, along with with Tiramisu for dessert topped off a great evening! We will definitely be back again. Thank you everyone!
