Great spot for dinner after a movie night. We ordered the Little Mickey’s pizza, king prawns risotto, lasagne and fettuccine lamb shank to share The food was tasty and perfect for sharing. Although the restaurant was packed, the wait time for food was still reasonable. Would recommend booking ahead as it gets very busy. Will definitely be back again next time in the area.
We had such a wonderful experience! The food was great, but what really made our visit special was the exceptional service from Nic. He was incredibly attentive, patient, professional, and genuinely kind. We were dining with our family and our one-year-old daughter, and he made us feel so comfortable and welcome throughout the entire meal. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and his friendly attitude really stood out. Customer service like this is hard to find, and Nic truly made our visit memorable. We’ll definitely be coming back again and again. Highly recommend!
Been to Crinitis all over Sydney over the years, including the old Parramatta and Darling Harbour locations, so I’ve always known what to expect from them. Finally got to try the Castle Hill restaurant after moving into the Hills area, and it definitely lived up to what I remembered. The quality of both the pasta and pizza was very good. I’ve tried around 8 pizza places in the Hills over the past year, and Crinitis is right up there. The pizza had that proper woodfire taste, generous and tasty toppings, and the dough was really nice. Pasta was solid as well, but the highlight for me was definitely the pizza.
We’ve been coming here for many years and have always enjoyed the experience, which is why this visit was particularly disappointing. The service was excellent, very friendly and incredibly fast, with staff attentive throughout the meal. The quality of the food itself was also good, with fresh ingredients and flavours that we generally enjoyed. Unfortunately, the portion sizes have noticeably shrunk. Never in all our visits over the years have we seen portions this small, especially considering the premium prices being charged. The chicken parmigiana was smaller than what you’d expect from many local pubs, let alone an Italian restaurant. The pasta servings also appear to have fallen victim to shrinkflation, leaving dishes feeling poor value for money. It’s a shame because the food was tasty and the service was hard to fault, but paying restaurant prices for portions that leave you wanting more takes away from the overall experience. We sincerely hope this is just a temporary change, as we’d love to see the generous portions and value that kept us returning for so many years.
The food here was great (I got the most delicious Marley Truffle pizza and my friends also really enjoyed their food seen in the photo) and the service even better. Prince was an absolute legend and made sure everyone’s dietary needs were met. He was a friendly and warm server and made us all feel comfortable here at Crinitis. I am sure to come back again for more delicious food and kind service.
