Situated on Victoria Street, I popped in on a night out with friends for a cocktail and dinner. The staff were friendly and helpful from the word go. The cocktail list is fun and frivolous, so be adventurous and try something different. For starters we tried the calamari fritti and lasagna spring rolls, for mains we tried the risotto gamberi, which was so salty it was almost inedible but to give the restaurant credit they took it back and somehow reduced the salt. The steak which was cooked well. We ordered a pasta dish and really not sure what it was as it was the wrong one but once again the restaurant were good enough not to charge as we couldn’t eat it due to dietary restrictions and a salumi pizza which was really yummy. So realistically half the meals were good and the other half weren’t and all dishes were generous in size. But the restaurant tried to rectify any problems that occurred.

Wonderful food, even better service! If you're after a bottomless lunch or dinner, this is the place. We were very lucky to meet Gino by accident one afternoon, and he was so personable we just had to come back to have a meal here- and thank goodness we did! We've very quickly become regulars at this beautiful little spot. The cocktail list is fun and flirtatious, the steak is always cooked perfectly, the portions are generous, and we can never get enough of the foccacia or the cacio e pepe. The only thing better than the food is Gino himself, always there to welcome you with a smile, and always happy to bring you another round. The cocktails are always wonderful, and they do the best aperol spritz I've had in a long time. The fairyfloss Martini is iconic!

Out of this world! My partner and I had the bottomless brunch and can confidently say that Gino’s is thee place to go in Darlinghurst. The service, setting, hospitality and food all being 10/10. Our server was devoted to making our experience nothing short of perfection. We highly recommend dinning here. Thank you once again for exceeding our expectations 😁.

Visited here for an express lunch for 2. The salumi pizza was excellent!! We also ordered the rigatoni boscaiola, and spaghetti bolognese, sauce was tasty and Al dente. A bit of a quiet spot on a Friday afternoon. Friendly service! Such a good deal $45 for everything.

As a big martini fan, I was keen to try the one at Gino’s Kitchen and Cocktails. The vodka martini itself was well made, but the serve felt quite small for the price. It came in a glass the size of a thimble. It left me wondering whether this is typical in Sydney or specific to this venue, as the value didn’t quite match the cost. Disappointing.
