Magnia e Bevi in Rose Bay is a fantastic Italian spot run by brothers John and Peter, who bring over 30 years of experience. The wood-fired pizza was excellent – light, flavourful dough with fresh toppings – and the pasta was full of rich flavour with great texture. Service was friendly and attentive, and the ambience was warm and welcoming. Great value for the quality – highly recommended, and we’ll be back!
Great dinner at Mangia e Bevi. We were a group of 8 adults for dinner, the table was prepared quickly and service was good. We had a mix of pizza, pasta and salads to share and everything was very good. The best plate was the gnocchi with napoletana sauce. Only item that was a let down was the garlic bread.
While I do support a family establishment, perhaps make sure the younger ones are fully trained before leaving them in charge of customer service? We went on a quiet Sunday night. The food was fine, but our waters were only halfway filled once. While we would understand when the waiters are overwhelmed, it is not acceptable when you have 3 tables and 2 very young waiters talking to each other and ingoring the guests.
We’ve been going to Mangia Bevi on New South Head Rd, Rose Bay for years — at least three times a week! They’ve been part of the community for over 10 years, and it’s easy to see why. The food is always fresh, delicious, and perfect for those nights when you don’t have time to cook. It’s run by a beautiful Lebanese family, and Natalie, the manager, always greets us with a big smile and goes above and beyond to impress. Their pizzas are the best, their pasta is amazing, and you absolutely have to try their incredible Dubai pizza for dessert — it’s unforgettable! Highly recommend this gem to anyone who loves great food and friendly service. 💗
First time ordering takeaway pizzas from Mangia e Bevi - and they were wonderful. Not overly thick crust or doughy, and generous tasty toppings. Loved them and we'll be back.
