7 Apr 2026 Stopped in for lunch after a harbor cruise. Order a late lunch and the service was fast, friendly and efficient. Food was out very quickly but it was not peak time (can’t comment). The food was on the small to medium size but extremely filling. The waitstaff were very attentive. Had two lovely waitresses who were very prompt in bringing us our cutlery, cracked pepper etc when we asked for it. Definitely will be back again and fully recommend.

We had a lovely breakfast Sunday morning. The staff made us feel welcome, there was a decent selection of breakfast menu options, loved the Italian music playing in the background and great view of the harbour. We had a great experience, my only comment is I don't believe the weekend surcharge is necessary. No doubt we will be back again when visiting Sydney!

Nothing beats paying top dollar for bad food. I ordered an open toastie and got cold soggy toast with tomatoes thrown on top with some ham and cheese. Dirty glasses, wait staff that seem to be mad at you for even being there, and a table so sticky that I almost threw my dirty glass over my shoulder trying to pick it up when it eventually unstuck. The only positive is the convenient and lovely location, but based on that and the price, my expectations were high. A short walk will take you to places with much better standards, so wont be back.

I visited Rossini for lunch on a cold day and had a mixed experience. On arrival, the older gentleman who appeared to be seating guests wasn't rude, but he wasn't particularly welcoming either. There wasn't much of a greeting, he simply looked at me over his glasses while I waited to be seated. It wasn't unfriendly, but it didn't make for the warmest first impression. The young waitress, on the other hand, was lovely. The restaurant was clearly busy with the lunch rush, and she was working incredibly hard to keep up while remaining polite and attentive throughout my visit. I ordered the minestrone soup. It arrived nice and hot, which was exactly what I wanted on a cold day, and it was full of vegetables. While I found the flavour a little bland for my taste, it was still comforting and came with bread and butter. The only small hiccup was that I wasn't given a butter knife, so I had to ask the waitress for one, which she happily provided. Overall, it was a decent lunch with attentive service from the waitress despite how busy it was. A warmer welcome on arrival and a little more seasoning in the soup would have made the experience even better.

Great views of the harbour bridge..that's about the only redeeming feature of this place. Staff were not warm and friendly, feels like they didn't want to be there. Sticky tables Weekend surcharge, card surcharge.... We both had the Sicilian steak sandwich - had been here several years ago and the food quality has dropped $100 for 2 steak sandwiches and a stingy serve of chips, a coke and en espresso martini (which was quite good!). The place looks old and tired and needs a refresh.
