This is my second time being here. The flavours are SO GOOD. And prices are fantastic! I'll be back. There was a communication mishap with some of the table service when we just asked about how far away our meals were, his response was a little strange. But he did insist on putting a rush on them and the meals came out shortly after. One of my favourite places to eat if I don't want to spend lots of $.
Just had an absolutely incredible Italian meal! 🍝 The food was so authentic and truly to die for. Seriously, the white bait and fettuccine marinara were out of this world. 🤩 The service was top-notch, with the friendliest staff ever. Definitely feeling like I'm in 🇮🇹! I recently had the pleasure of visiting Seahorse, an Italian restaurant located conveniently close to my place (just 400 meters away). From the moment I stepped in, I was impressed by the exceptional staff who made my dining experience truly memorable. The chef, who also happens to be the owner, put his heart into the pasta dishes, and they were absolutely delicious! While the fries were just average, everything else more than made up for it. We chose to sit outside, but I noticed they also offer a cozy indoor seating option. One thing that stood out was the attentive service - they even brought water to our table before we had a chance to ask, a small gesture that made me feel welcome and cared for. If you find yourself in the Randwick area, Seahorse is definitely worth a visit for a delightful Italian dining experience!
Please do yourself a favour and avoid this place. You might find yourself wanting to have dinner before a movie across the road and notice that everywhere else is full and this place is empty. Trust me, it's empty for a reason. You'd be better off at McDonald's down the road than here. I can only assume that the positive reviews are from the owner's friends and family because every time I've been here I've had ABYSMAL service. It takes an hour for them to bring water to your table. It takes another hour for your food to come out. The staff will huff and puff and be rude to you if you dare ask what the hold up is, which is a fair question when the place is essentially empty and you're waiting 2 hours for dinner. No apologies, no refunds. If you end up sitting through the ridiculous wait for your meal, I'm sorry to say that it's going to be bland, overpriced and room-temp. Do not go here.
Good authentic Italian conveniently across the road from the Ritz cinema. Friendly staff. Quick service. Good variety on the menu although would have liked to have had a pizza option. Food was served promptly. All the dishes we ordered seemed a bit overly salty for our liking otherwise nicely cooked delicious food. Generous portions and value for money.
