Amazing, amazing and amazing! Food service and ambience - so unassuming, unpretentious and that all delivers. It was all so spot-hitting, I had to write this review before leaving this place. We were originally going to order the other starters but changed our minds once we saw someone else’s calamari fritti come out. No picture sadly as it was so appealing we dug in straightaway. We also ordered the burrata with braised leeks and Jerusalem artichoke, the spanner crab pasta, and the 20 sheets of lasagna - all beautiful. Service attentive and very prompt, as was the delivery of food. Can’t wait to return!
We had a fantastic dinner at Semola. One thing we really appreciated was the atmosphere. It felt cosy and intimate without being cramped, and the noise level was just right. It was easy to have a conversation without competing with loud music or a busy dining room, which made the experience especially enjoyable. The standout for me was the tiramisu — it was incredibly light, not overly sweet, and beautifully coffee-forward. It was the highlight of the meal. For mains, my partner enjoyed the pork lasagna, which was comforting, while I ordered the truffle pasta. As a truffle lover, this dish really packed a punch. It was my first time having freshly sliced truffle. The truffle was so fragrant that every little post-dinner burp was a reminder of what I'd just eaten — thankfully, it was delicious enough that I didn't mind! 😄 Overall, a great meal with delicious pasta and
The best and most incredible Italian food in Sydney. Where do I start? The most amazing selection of wines to pair with the food, to the handmade delicious pasta. The food was fresh, service was 10/10 and the ambience of the restaurant was great. Cannot wait to come back.
This is the best handmade pasta spot that I’ve ever visited! Such a gem in Marrickville! If you haven’t try them out you’re seriously missing out! Must try arancini. Loving their gnocchi with burrata and their blue swimmer crab pasta is tangy, light and I highly Recomended!! Can’t leave without trying their desserts.
One of if not the best Italian restaurant we have ever been. Mother's Day lunch with set menu was Bull's eye. Everything was delicious and special accent on Nona's torte
