Since The Taste has new owners and chefs, we thought we’d give it another try and went back for a third visit last night. Unfortunately, our booking was for 6:00pm and we didn’t receive our meals until 8:00pm after being told our docket had been lost. This is now the third consecutive visit where our order has been misplaced. Sadly, the portion sizes seem to have become much smaller, especially considering the prices being charged. Throughout the evening, I approached staff several times to ask how much longer our meals would be and was repeatedly told “10 minutes.” What makes this even more disappointing is that the restaurant wasn’t particularly busy. At the time we ordered, there were only our table and another table of four, and throughout the evening there were approximately 36 people in the restaurant. With four chefs working, it’s difficult to understand why the wait times were so excessive. I was also disappointed when I approached one staff member for an update and then observed her discussing me behind the counter with a new staff member. On a positive note, another staff member spoke with me at the end of the night and was very understanding and apologetic. It disappoints me to write this review because under the previous owners we visited 2–3 times a week and always enjoyed our experience. It used to be one of our favourite places to dine. However, after three disappointing visits in a row, this will be our last. Such a shame to see a once-great restaurant decline in both service and value.

My partner booked our anniversary dinner at The Taste Italian Grill We ordered: Zucchini Flowers Seafood Tagliere Half San Remo and Half Mediterranean Lamb Pizza Fettuccine Lamb Shanks Pasta The food was delicious and the staff were great. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place with great food and a pleasant dining atmosphere.

While in the Campbelltown area, we searched for a nearby place to eat and came across this Italian restaurant. Not knowing what to expect, we arrived to find it bustling with people. Despite the crowd, a kind young man at the door promised to find us a spot, and he did. From the moment we walked in, we were met with warm smiles and a friendly atmosphere. The service was excellent, and the food was sensational. We highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning. It was truly a delightful experience. The lovely autumn leaves fallen on the wet path on a cold evening added a perfect touch to our visit.

This restaurant has the most delicious tasting food ever. The service is exceptional and the food is outstanding. I had the seafood platter to share, along with garlic bread and mixed vegetables. All the food was really flavorful, and very filling. The cocktails were so good also. Presentation was exceptional. We were well looked after by our waiter from the moment we arrived. This place truly is a hidden gem. Will definitely be going back soon.

Waited around an hour and a half for our food to arrive. When our order was finally served, the buns on the 800-mile burger were burnt black around the edges and the pasta was mediocre. Though the serving size of the food was pretty decent, we wouldn’t go back to that place nor would we recommend it to family and friends. Experience wasn’t pleasant
