Delicious and authentic food cooked from the heart. Tucked away on top of a bustling Japanese BBQ place, you will find some of the freshest sashimi, sushi and other delicious dishes such as Ankimo (monkfish liver) and snapper you can't find anywhere else in Sydney. Such a gem!
A great place to go for authentic Japanese food. Very limited seating for the omakase - just 7 people when we were there. Too hard to describe everything but it was all good, fresh and incredibly well prepared. You sit facing the kitchen so you can see it all being prepared and you get served by the chef. Great experience and a superb setting. Highly recommend .
He is back and better than ever! If you can find this little treasure upstairs in the middle of a yakaniku restaurant you will be rewarded with thoughtful and delicious Japanese. So feather light were the tempura whiting fillets a breeze could have wafted them off the plate. Carpaccio kingfish, soy, a coriander leaf and a slice of jalapeño, powerful yet unbelievably harmonious. Can’t wait to go back.
@Sushi offers exceptional quality sushi, boasting freshness that is truly best in class. Each bite reflects a commitment to top-notch ingredients and an unparalleled sushi experience.
Food ingredients were fresh and the dishes were presented nicely. I would say the meal is of good value with aud 150 per person also you could BYO alcohol with a service fee which you normally can’t in omakase restaurants. The chef was very friendly and he specially made us a sushi birthday cake. We really loved the dinner just not the ambience itself. Being surrounded by a bbq place with heaps of smoke and all sorts of noise on a Saturday night. Would be great if there is a separate space which definitely elevate the dining experience overall. But I could understand given the price we pay when omakase could charge 300. It is our second time going there and will definitely go again.
