We recently discovered this place on our evening walks 1 month ago. We were delighted of their delicious menu offer. We love the wagyu beef , the ramen and variety of kanto style ambience. Eric-is one the best crew. He is diligent, helpful and friendly. He is accomodating and respectful of customers’ needs. Thank you Eric for your kindness and hospitality ( please don’t lose him - he is a gem in this restaurant) . We will be back again for dinner soon. Jason and Jasmin
Came to try their signature donburi and entree set but was slightly disappointed. The food was good, especially the toppings of the donburi but the rice was hard and dry - certainly not what I would've expected. Other things were alright like the yakitori and ramen, but not amazing. The value is just not there for the signature sets - more than twice the price of a normal donburi but maybe the size of just one.
Excellent yakitori experience from start to finish. The skewers were expertly grilled — the beef had a gorgeous caramelised glaze with just the right amount of char, and the prawn skewers were fresh and full of flavour. The presentation is clean and the atmosphere feels authentic. Highly recommend if you’re after quality Japanese BBQ in Sydney. A gem worth revisiting.
We ordered the beef don and waited for over an hour, yet it never arrived. Is this dish really that difficult to make? From the moment we sat down until we finally left, we were just waiting. During that time, many customers who arrived after us received their meals before we did, while our order was repeatedly overlooked. No one explained the delay or updated us on what was happening. The most frustrating part wasn’t just the long wait—it was feeling like our table had been forgotten while everyone else was being served. It left us wondering why we were treated differently. This was a very disappointing experience, and we hope the restaurant improves its service and communication so no other customers have to go through the same thing. It made us feel as though we were being treated differently from other customers, and the experience left us feeling unfairly treated.
Really enjoyed my visit here. The place has a warm, cosy vibe that makes it easy to just sit back and enjoy your meal. The highlight for me was definitely the broth in both the udon and oden. It's light, well-balanced, and full of flavour without being too rich or overpowering. Honestly, I think it's better than the broth at a lot of the more mainstream udon and ramen places I've been to. Even a simple bowl of plain udon or some oden in their broth is incredibly comforting and satisfying on its own. I also liked how much variety there is on the menu. It's a great spot for families, especially if you've got a few picky eaters, because there's something for everyone. Overall, this is definitely a place I'll be coming back to whenever I'm in the area. Highly recommend if you're looking for delicious, comforting Japanese food in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
