A true hidden gem just steps from Marrickville Station! Domori is a cozy, minimalist Japanese eatery buzzing with takeaway orders. The Prawn Katsu Udon is a must-try—the tempura is perfectly crisp and the udon broth is deeply flavourful. The Grilled Unagi is tender and rich, served over fluffy rice. Also loved the crispy-skinned Grilled Salmon Don and the comforting Katsu Curry. Simple, warm atmosphere that feels like a slice of Japan. Perfect for a soul-warming meal on a rainy day.

Great Japanese casual dining spot with generous portions and lots of variety. The flavors are amazing, and the meal set lets you try many different dishes at once. Absolutely love it and will definitely come back!

Great Japanese cuisine restaurant! The place isn’t very big, but they offer a wide variety of dishes. The curry rice and bento boxes are absolutely delicious and the highlight for me. You can really tell they put care into their cooking—everything tastes fresh and the ingredients are high quality. It’s a perfect spot for a daily meal or a quick lunch break. Prices are very affordable too. Highly recommended!

Pleasant, casual Japanese spot in Marrickville. Food is simple but satisfying — the salmon sashimi bowl with onsen egg was fresh and well balanced, and the soba with fried chicken was a nice light option. Portions are generous and each set comes with small sides, which is a nice touch. Not a fancy place, but a solid choice if you’re nearby and want something easy and filling.

Comfortable Japanese spot with very solid execution. The ontama egg okonomiyaki was soft and satisfying, tempura light and crisp, and karaage juicy. Both prawn katsu don and grilled unagi don were well balanced. The new truffle mayo is subtle but addictive. A genuinely easy place to enjoy good food.
