Fugetsu is a great spot in Haymarket for a relaxed Japanese meal. We ordered the mini vegetable udon, soft shell crab udon, and a selection of sushi rolls—all of which were fresh and tasty. The udon had a nice, comforting flavour, and the soft shell crab was a standout. The atmosphere is easygoing and not too noisy, which made it a good place to sit down and have a proper conversation while enjoying the food. Overall, a solid choice if you’re after simple, good-quality Japanese in the area.
Excellent variety and so good to have a fixed price on most plates to make decisions easier! Fresh and delicious. Loved the aburi cheese scallop but wish there was more than just a thin sliver of scallop meat. Takoyaki was some of the best I've had. Service was excellent.
Good variety of sushi, although not the freshest in the world, especially for the ones that are rotating on the carousel. Don't forget to order the fresh wasabi which is essentially free.
YUMMY! Food is top notch. The service, food, atmosphere, and choice is amazing. As far as a sushi train/Japanese restaurant goes, it’s extremely worth the visit if you’re in market city! Everything is SO FRESH and made to order! Amazing ♥️ thank you guys!
I was here with my girlfriend the other day, the iPad menus were easy to use and the service was amazing, the waiting time for the food was little to none. The chef had said he misshaped the dumplings that we ordered (it was barely noticeable) but insisted that he cook us a fresh bowl of Edamame, which was an amazing gesture. 10/10 service, from the waiter and the chef, very lovely place, highly recommend
