Best Udon and ramen Soup in sydney . We have tried many Japanese restaurants in different parts of Sydney , Flavour wise it’s best out of all , not salty or too light , just perfection . We celebrated birthday lunch . Senior Female staff at the counter is very kind and generous. Treated us free dessert because of my family birthday , we didn’t expect that at all . What a lovely surprise. Big thankyou for your kindness and warm welcome 🙏 , your customer service is excellent and deserve a pay rise . We intentionally drove to Bankstown from northern side of Sydney to have Udon soup especially , over an hour drive , it’s well worth it , it’s not our first time here, taste is always the same as when we first tried this shop a year ago, it remains consistent and never disappoints us . Portion is big enough that we had to take away leftover soup and tempura . We wanted to try more dishes but no more space in our tummy . Staff were friendly, offered to take picture for us without us asking.

In my opinion, this is the best sashimi in Sydney. The ingredients are incredibly fresh, and you can really tell they are of premium quality, yet the prices are very reasonable. The ramen broth is rich and flavorful, and the side dishes are also delicious.

I recently visited Hanamaruya Bankstown for the first time, and I must say I was genuinely impressed. From the moment we arrived, the customer service was outstanding. The quality and freshness of every dish we ordered were exceptional. The oysters were on another level — each component complemented the oyster perfectly, and you could tell real care had gone into balancing every flavor. The carpaccio was sublime, showcasing remarkably fresh fish, while the sashimi platter was simply outstanding. The freshness was A-grade and honestly felt that the kitchen is a fish market. The Sashimi platter was truly an experience of an assortment of flavors and textures, with every individual cut showcasing an explosion of flavors, and textures. SUPERB. . A special thank you to Jay for his down-to-earth and hospitable nature, and to Andy for the amazing service throughout the evening. An easy 6+ stars from me — I’ll definitely be returning.

This is definitely No.1 Japanese restaurant in bankstown area. Hands down the best Japanese restaurant I’ve visited in Bankstown. The freshness of the seafood, the quality of the ingredients, and the attention to detail in every dish were exceptional. The service was outstanding and the staff genuinely cared about providing a great experience. Everything from the food to the atmosphere was perfect. I would happily recommend Hanamaruya to anyone looking for authentic Japanese cuisine. Can’t wait to come back!

It was one pf the greatest Japanese restaurant I've been. The food was so delicious, the service was great and the price were reasonable. Great atmosphere 👌. Definitely recommend.
