I came here for a celebration and ordered the Take Set for $49.80. For that price, I expected larger portions. The meal included 2 small prawns, 5 bite-sized pieces of chicken, 6 small pieces of steak, egg fried rice, miso soup and bean sprouts for the “vegetables.” I was still hungry afterwards, so I didn’t feel it offered good value for the price. I also expected the teppanyaki experience to make up for the smaller portions, but unfortunately our chef wasn’t very engaging and there wasn’t much interaction with our table. Just some egg tossing. The table next to us seemed to have a much more entertaining experience, so it may depend on the chef you get. It could be a fun place for families with young kids, but as an adult group celebrating a special occasion, we left disappointed. For around the same price, I personally think a Korean or Japanese BBQ buffet offers much better value.
We visited on a Sunday and the restaurant was quiet, with only one other table of three when we arrived. After being seated, we ordered the Ume and Matsu sets. The calamari was bland, and the fish turned out to be basa—something I wouldn’t have ordered if I’d known, especially at $46.90. The rice was also poorly cooked, which was disappointing. On the positive side, the beef was juicy and paired well with the peanut sauce. It seems part of the experience is the “egg tossing” performance, which may appeal to some diners. Overall, the meal felt overpriced for the quality, and it didn’t meet expectations.
Our family celebrated our daughters 18th birthday and what a fun night it was. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. We all had the 'Sakura' menu with drinks ranging from cocktails to Japanese beers. The Teppenyaki chefs were amazing showcasing their skills to us diners. We all finished off with a desert of deep fried ice cream that was made perfectly with choice of chocolate, strawberry & caramel toppings. Such a fun time we had and a definite return to have more fun eating very soon.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had such a wonderful experience at Teppanyaki! My daughters and my dad absolutely loved it. The food was fantastic, the staff were amazing, and the chef was hilarious, making the whole experience fun and memorable. It was great to see such friendly service, great energy and attention to making everyone feel welcome. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was fantastic, and even the parking was a dream (which is a rare bonus!). A fantastic experience from start to finish. We’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food, great staff and a fun night out.
The food served was tasty due to the excessive amount of oil and butter used during cooking; the same sauce was used on all the meats which was disappointing. However this wasn't as disappointing as the ridiculous small serving sizes, you pay just under $50 a head and my whole family left still hungry. They somehow think that giving you bean sprouts makes up for not having enough meat. The seating is also undesirable as you don't get your own private chef and have to share with strangers, making the whole process take longer and not as enjoyable. Not to mention that the venue was showing its age. The chef themselves looked bored, doing the exact same routine everyday and they didn't make it very entertaining. I would not recommend, spend your money anywhere else
