Beautiful highly recommend. Our server Jake was so helpful with the main menu and drinks menu. As well as very fast/efficient. Clearing our table after each meal and offering us refills as well as checking in on our table a few times to make sure everything was running smoothly. The kingfish is a must try. Amazingly fresh and well balanced blend of flavours.
Cute little izakaya in the heart of Potts Point. The Grilled Wagyu Striploin and the Black Miso Butter Ramen were the highlights of our meal. The Pork Tonkotsu Ramen was regrettably under salted, had to ask for extra salt and stole some of the black garlic broth to make it palatable. I'd still rate the food five star though.
Had the ramen and an Aperol during happy hour at IKI Dining and it was the perfect combination. The ramen was delicious and generously portioned, and the Aperol was spot on. The service was fantastic too, friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Such a great spot, I’ll definitely be back! 🍜🍹😊
We came here recently in small group and we were very happy with our dining experience. Here are some of the highlights: - We made a booking before coming here and I do recommend that. - They have outdoor and indoor dining areas. The restaurant is pretty ecletic in its decor and works out well. Tables were well spaced in the back dining area. - They have lunch specials and pretty good value for the quality of food. Loved the ramen for the clear broth and there is still depth to it. The poke bowl was pretty nice but for anyone who cannot take spice is best to avoid it. The gyoza is good too. - The staff were professional, polite and accommodating. It is full table service too. I can't wait to go back again and I recommend this place.
Be curious and you will be rewarded. Highly recommend this new local gem. The calibre of the food is top tier with casual flare. From the ingredients and pairing, it’s clear that a lot of thought and consideration has been put into each dish. Chef basically went omakase style and each dish hit the mark. Oysters were super fresh and creamy. The accompanying ponzu jelly was well balanced. The king fish was served minimalist but the flavour and ingredient pairing was anything but basic - finger lime, spice, lime, fish salt. Banging! The cucumber octopus was yum. Tender morsels tossed together with a sesame based dressing. I hadn’t planned to get ramen but glad chef steered that way. The crab bisque ramen far outshines Mensho. The prawns and crab was flash fried in oil, coming out juicy and fragrant. Egg was good. Noodles and bisque 10/10 yum. The same selection is decent. Som is ex-Sokyo so knows his stuff. Will coming here cost a pretty penny? Probably, but what doesn’t these days. May as well make it worth it. Will be back very soon for more!
