An unforgettable dining experience from start to finish. Every dish was memorable and beautifully executed. The Kobe beef option was remarkable—perfectly prepared and packed with flavour. The chawanmushi with king crab was magnificent, delicate and luxurious, while the spectacular soufflé dessert paired with doughnut ice cream was a truly outstanding finish to the meal. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming and attentive throughout. The attention to detail was exceptional, with nothing overlooked. Service was polished without being intrusive, making the entire experience feel effortless. A restaurant that delivers not only incredible food but also a genuinely memorable experience. We will be talking about these dishes for a long time to come.

I had the pleasure of returning to Izy-Aki after a year, and it’s safe to say the team has done it yet again. A heartfelt thank you to Darren, Bonnie, and Patrick for making it such a wonderful evening. The pacing was spot on, our plates were never empty, and the service was attentive, our glasses were never empty. I simply cannot recommend Izy-Aki highly enough. Every dish was exceptional, and I continue to appreciate the thought, care, and attention to detail behind every element. It’s clear that every plate is crafted with genuine passion and precision. We left with our bellies full and a smile on our faces.

Wow this place honestly is my absolute favourite restaurant in Sydney! Been here 4 times in a year and every single time it never disappoints! Darren and Bonnie are such amazing chefs! Every bite of every dish makes me look forward to the next dish. I love how Darren uses seasonal produce depending on what is available. Any excuse/occasion to visit this place. The service & the attention to detail as soon as you step foot into the restaurant, absolutely sensational. Always have such an enjoyable time chatting with Darren about the dishes. Highly recommend!

Crazy good experience. The team work so hard here to deliver such a great experience. Every dish has such consideration, such a great unique sauce and such wonderful produce. This one has been on the list for a while, would happily visit again tomorrow night. The biggest surprise is the reasonable price point, such great value.

Do yourself a favour by visiting this site. Izy.aki just another level of kappo style omakase dining with Darren and Bonnie. Not a single fault for our dining tonight. We did the 10 course with Izy.aki and every single course just has its own outstanding score. So much umami yet very enjoyable, from scallop octopus beignets , hens egg that flavoured with unagi, trout roe and four gras, to our most delicious A5 kagoshima wagyu. Go try it yourself and you will know what is real chef kiss dish means 🤩. Will be back for sure. Thanks Darren and teams for looking after us tonight.
