I came here and ordered the prawn crab king rolls and matcha float, and both were so good! The king rolls portion was huge. I came alone, but I would recommend sharing it between two people (if you order something else too). The matcha float was sooo yummy (it came with matcha, waffle, red bean, matcha ice cream, and whipped cream. As a matcha lover, I really loved this combination. My tummy was basically full of matcha! The staff were also so lovely and sweet. The whole place felt warm and welcoming, almost like home, but still with a nice restaurant atmosphere. If you’re looking for Japanese food with a good environment, I highly recommend this restaurant. They also open on Thursday evenings from 5–9 pm, which is a nice time to come with friends. A lot of people come to hang out, and they have beer and sake too. During busy times, I’d recommend being a little patient, as the restaurant has limited tables and the food is freshly prepared by a small team. It can get busy, especially with families dining in :)
Ordered the mixed tempura udon🍤, but quite disappointed with the food, they deep fried the food and keep it warmed, so the tempura are hot but not crispy at all. The udon is soggy🥲 staff are nice but it’s a self serve restaurant. The quality is reasonable since its $18 for my set.
We came by for lunch over the weekend ; we sat inside as it's more private. The sushi is very nice and fresh, and I especially liked the seaweed salad as a side as it was very refreshing!
Terrible experience! Have waited 30 mins for a table and still 4 empty tables not been cleaned. The first dish served in another 30 mins with a missing order. Chicken is over cooked and table is wobbling. Oh, and 10% Sunday surcharge! Seems like they have their own way to run the business. Good luck
I saw the reviews before eating, but thought I’d give it a try. Everything was going well. The food tasted fresh. The vibe was nice. The staff are nice. But then I found a hair in my sushi. I usually let this slide with cooked food, but not raw fish. The staff were nice enough though to give us complementary ice cream.
