Midweek lunch time. The food came out in about 10-15 mins. Food was good depending on your personal preferences. The Katsu was done quite well. The sushi pieces were decently sized. We weren't hungry afterwards, but we did spend roughly $30 per person. The only disappointing thing was the prawn Tempura Udon as it only comes with one prawn. Considering plain Udon was $16, and prawn Tempura Udon was $17.8, I feel like paying $19.60 for two prawns in my Udon would be worth it. It's prawn, I expect it to be more expensive. Cashier couldn't find my bill for some reason, even though each table was numbered and the bill I got in the end matched the table number. The waitress had to help the cashier with my bill. There is a surcharge for card payment.

Amazing food - fresh, tasty and well priced. So many choices I need to go back to sample the other dishes. Food came out within 10 mins. We were definitely not hungry after.

Dined in on a weekday for dinner - great portion size, value for money and customer service. The food came out quickly and tasted beautiful! Highly recommend the katsu set menu - so much variety and flavour!! We also tried the yuzu soda drink and it was unreal! I thought it was going to come in a prepackaged can but it was a nice drink made from scratch and had little sweet yuzu pieces inside. Thank you team, I’ll definitely be back

The food here was delicious and we enjoyed all our dishes. The only let down was ordering our drink with the meals and asking twice from different waitresses and eventually leaving without the drink as we finished our meals. They were polite, apologised and deducted it off the bill.

We dined here recently to celebrate my mother-in-law’s birthday and ordered quite a variety of dishes. While a few were enjoyable, others left us puzzled. For entrées, we ordered two sushi platters. The presentation was… unusual. Scattered across the sushi were large, bark-like pieces — possibly fried lemongrass? They were tough, not palatable, and definitely not something you’d want to chew. If they were meant to be garnish, they overwhelmed the plate. If they were intended to be eaten, they clashed with the delicate flavour of the sushi. It was hard to tell what the chef was aiming for. It felt more like a gimmick than thoughtful plating. The sashimi plate, on the other hand, was fresh and well-prepared — no complaints there. My mum had the chicken teriyaki rice. It was fine, but nothing special. We’ve had better elsewhere. I ordered the chicken karaage, which didn’t resemble any karaage I’ve had before — and I’ve had plenty. It looked more like generic crispy chicken, and lacked that signature karaage seasoning and texture. Disappointing. My youngest had the plain udon — basic but she was happy, and that’s what matters. My son had the chicken katsu rice, which was again, decent but forgettable. The birthday girl chose the chicken salad. The dressing was nice — sweet and tangy — but the greens were watery, likely because they weren’t drained properly after washing. We also tried the corn ribs and prawn tacos for starters. The corn had an interesting flavour, while the tacos were okay — though ordering Mexican dishes at a Japanese restaurant was a bit of a gamble. The Yuzu drink was overly sweet, missing that crisp citrusy balance. Overall, the food was average at best. The service was quite slow; we had to keep trying to catch someone’s attention, which made the experience feel a bit disjointed. Would I return? Probably not. There are just too many better options out there.
