Very lovely friendly staff, but had a limited range of sushi on the sushi train. Most of the choices were salmon or seafood / light fish based and we only saw one chicken option in over an hour. Vegetable tempura was okay but thickly sliced pieces weren't the best for me personally. Service and atmosphere was nice but they seat couple or families who aren't together opposite each other which can feel too close, and might make the conversation awkward.
Sensational Japanese restaurant. The servings are enormous, sashimi wonderfully fresh and tempura was perfect. We also enjoyed the chicken teriyaki. The service is also top-notch. We’ll be back for sure!
Great place with lots of options for the family, great service from the staff and very flexible. We saw there was a kids meal option after already selecting Sushi from the Sushi train and they accommodated the change. Lots of seating for a small place, a bit of a hidden place compared to the other big players. You can see the friendly chefs cooking and the places was busy with all types of patrons ie families, young kids and singles.
I’ve been to a lot of sushi restaurants over the years, but Kaito Sushi is on another level. The sushi is hands down the freshest and best tasting you’ll find anywhere in The Hills. Every roll, every piece of sashimi, and every dish is made with incredible care, and you can genuinely taste the quality of the ingredients. A massive thank you to the sushi chefs, who consistently produce amazing food every single visit. Their attention to detail and consistency are second to none. The biggest reason we keep coming back, though, is William and Mira. William and Mira are honestly the best servers we’ve ever had. They’re always so warm, welcoming, friendly, and attentive, and they go above and beyond to make every visit special. William and Mira remember their customers, create such a great atmosphere, and make us feel like family every time we walk through the door. Seeing William and Mira has genuinely become something we look forward to every sushi night. The service from William, Mira, and the entire team is outstanding, and it perfectly matches the incredible food. If you’re looking for the best sushi in The Hills with exceptional service, Kaito Sushi is the place to go. We couldn’t recommend it more highly—five stars isn’t enough!
Delicious and generous portions. The fish is always fresh and I have never once had a disappointing experience here. Sometimes the portions feel like they are filled up a lot more than usual, but even the regular portions are very generous for the price. The weekday lunch special gives you a lot of variety and is our go-to. :)
