I recently visited Kana Sushi with my friends to grab some food for our picnic, and it turned out to be an amazing experience! We thought it would be a quick takeaway stop, but the place was absolutely packed — a clear sign of how popular it is. We ordered a big variety of dishes, including fresh salmon nigiri with salmon avo rolls, Chicken Katsu Mayo Donburi, Chicken Cheese Roll, Chicken Katsu Tiger, salmon sashimi, spicy katsu donburi, tuna avocado, katsu avo, chicken mayo, and tofu cucumber rolls. Everything tasted super fresh and delicious. The spicy katsu donburi had the perfect level of heat, the salmon sashimi was incredibly soft and melt-in-your-mouth, and the chicken cheese roll was rich and creamy — one of my favourites! Honestly, every single item we tried was full of flavour and high quality. The service was quick despite the crowd, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, it’s an excellent spot for fresh, tasty, and affordable Japanese food. I’ll definitely be coming back again, and I highly recommend Kana Sushi.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Kana Sushi is an absolute gem! They have such a wide variety of sushi, all super fresh and delicious. I’m a huge salmon lover, so their Salmon Mix Boxes were a dream – the Salmon Nigiri and Salmon Avocado Rolls were generous, fresh, and went perfectly with soy sauce and wasabi. Beyond sushi, they also serve Donburi bowls like Katsudon, and if you’re a fan of chicken katsu, their Volcano Rolls are a must-try! I finished with my favourite, Salmon Sashimi – easily some of the best I’ve had in Sydney, incredibly fresh and high quality. The service is fast and efficient, and the prices are really reasonable for the quality you get. Definitely one of the best sushi spots in Crows Nest and they also have a branch in Wynyard station which is suoer convenient. I’ll be back for sure!
I really enjoyed the sushi and donburi here. I tried it at the Wynyard station- there was a pretty good variety of sushi like sushi rolls, nigiri and paper rice rolls. I really liked the mixed nigiri and roll combo. The rice paper roll was packed with fresh veggies.
Popular Japanese restaurant serving a good selection of sushi options, Danbury, katsu sets and udon noodles. The dishes are reasonably priced and of a consistently good quality, which explains why there is often a queue here.
First time to visit this restaurant for dinner and loved it so much!! Every dish I ordered was delicious. The seaweed salad was huge, enough for 2ppl. the sashimi was super fresh and tasty. The ell teishoku was delicious as well. And we tried their special udon with heaps of seafoods including king prawns and baby octopus, so much valued! I would love to visit again.
