We recently visited Koi Bento and ordered the chicken teriyaki, but unfortunately we were quite disappointed with what we received. According to the menu, it is described as pan-fried chicken thigh fillet glazed with teriyaki sauce. Based on that description, we were expecting a proper piece of chicken thigh with a nice teriyaki glaze, served simply and true to the dish. Instead, the meal looked more like a stir-fry. It came with a large amount of mixed vegetables and only small pieces of chicken. It didn’t resemble a traditional teriyaki chicken dish at all. The flavour was also not what we expected there was barely any teriyaki taste, and it had an unpleasant smell that made it difficult to enjoy. It definitely did not match the description on the menu. We mentioned this to the staff, hoping for some clarification or solution, but the response was just a quick “sorry about that,” with no further explanation or effort to address the issue. We were really looking forward to this meal, so the experience was disappointing. We hope the restaurant can improve the consistency and better match their dishes to the menu descriptions.
We came here for a family gathering and ordered sushi and sashimi, and everything was absolutely delicious 🍣✨ The staff were very friendly, and the food quality was excellent. Highly recommended 👍😊
Amazing! I had curry for lunch and it was absolutely delicious. Even when sitting outside, it was nice and warm thanks to the heaters. They also have gluten-free and vegetarian menu options, which is a big plus! I’ll definitely come back for dinner next time – their bento boxes and wine looked so tempting.

The food and service is awful. Far too slow. It took 40 mins for the food to arrive and only two out of six dishes came. There was hair in my food when it finally arrived. When I asked about the missing dishes, both waitresses were rude and dismissive. The ruined our family dinner. The food was unenjoyable. Never again.
