The bento box is definitely a highlight and a great choice if you want a bit of everything. It comes with a well-balanced selection including sashimi, protein, rice, salad, and miso soup — perfect for one person and very satisfying. The yuzu salmon salad was one of my favourites. It’s light, refreshing, and has a pleasant citrusy tang from the yuzu. The salmon tasted fresh and not overly salty, making it a great option if you’re after something lighter. I also tried the sukiyaki-style noodle pot, which was comforting and flavourful. It stayed hot throughout the meal and is perfect for colder weather — definitely a standout if you enjoy warm, hearty dishes. The okonomiyaki was decent but didn’t stand out compared to the other dishes. The sashimi/sushi set had generous cuts and was fairly fresh, though the tuna could have been slightly better in quality. Overall, a solid 7/10 experience. A good casual spot, especially if you’re craving a mix of Japanese-style comfort food. I’d recommend trying the bento box on your first visit.
Beautiful little restaurant with delicious food. We called ahead to secure an inside table. We ordered the spicy pork ramen, chicken karaage ramen, and a mixed sashimi plate. The food came out very quickly and everything was absolutely delicious. The flavours of the broth in both ramens were amazing and full of flavour. We would highly recommend this place.
To start I never usually leave reviews but the staff were so lovely and inviting. The food was well priced, delicious and authentic. I’m not from Sydney so had no idea what to expect. All I can say is if you’re looking for pure delicious and well priced food come here.
The staff were friendly, the set meal was good, the sashimi was also nice, and so was the ramen. However, there were many small flying insects in the store.
I’ve been coming here almost every week since my first visit. The food is always so fresh, clean, and super tasty. Their udon is seriously amazing, and the tempura is always perfectly crispy. Prices are really reasonable for the quality, and the staff are all so lovely and friendly. The place has such a cozy and relaxed vibe, and I love that I can bring my dog and sit outside. There are so many great menu options, so it never gets boring. Definitely one of my favorite Japanese spots in Sydney!
