I had a nice dinner at Miji Bar. We opted for the $35 hot pot at menu. You get an entree, platter of sushi, ice cream, soft drink and hot pot ingredients. Great value for money! The warm sake was delicious too. Friendly staff. Great place to take the kids too.

Miji Bar feels like a free trip to Japan without leaving Sydney. 🇯🇵✨ Their winter sukiyaki is the ultimate comfort food—generous portions, rich broth, and so satisfying. The sashimi selection is incredibly fresh and abundant, and honestly, every dish we ordered was delicious. 🍣🥩 Don’t skip the cocktails either—they’re as beautiful as they are tasty, making this the perfect spot for a date night or a special dinner. ❤️🍸 If you’re craving an authentic Japanese dining experience, Miji Bar definitely deserves a visit.

Tried the $45 unlimited wagyu hotpot and it was definitely worth it. The wagyu was so good with perfect marbling. It also came with karaage chicken and sushi rolls as appetisers, which was a nice bonus before the hotpot. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the restaurant had a cosy atmosphere that was perfect for a winter meal. Would happily come back again!

Great daily Happy Hour with tasty Japanese bites, especially the Happy Hour menu includes Oysters & Salmon Sashimi (during my visit)! Their yakitori is so tasty: we had the Tsukune (chicken meatball with egg yolk) & Wagyu Enoki roll! Nice Qual as well and there are delicious seafood rice dishes. Plenty of delicious cocktails & mocktails options. You must try their Melting Brulee Japanese Cheesecake! It was perfect sweetness with nice biscuit base, and they flambé it on your table!! Very friendly service as well. This is a great place for date & catch ups, and they have semi private area seatings for groups.

4/7/26 - 4 stars A relatively unknown Japanese restaurant in Northpoint. We came here for the AYCE hotpot and didn't have to wait long at all despite not booking. The decor is actually pretty nice and the self service sake tasting is just like Japan. Service could be quicker and more attentive. No one came to take our order for quite a while once we were seated. For $35pp, an AYCE is actually pretty great value, except, you are forced to order sides and sushi rolls as part of the deal. The sukiyaki broth was pretty average, but, the beef was actually quite good. Tako-age: B, 6/10. Mostly batter Yakitori: S, 8/10 Salmon roll: A, 7/10. Wagyu roll: S, 8/10. Beef was somewhat better. Nothing impressive about the sushi. Rice wasn't that fluffy or vinegared. Wasabi is fake,
