Really enjoyed my experience here. The restaurant has a warm and modern Japanese-style atmosphere, making it a great place for dinner with friends or a date night. The staff were friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout the meal. The food was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. The ingredients were fresh, and every dish was full of flavour without being too heavy. I especially loved their signature dishes, and the drinks and desserts were also impressive. The location is convenient and easy to get to in Sydney. Overall, it was a great dining experience and I would definitely come back again. Highly recommend this place if you enjoy Japanese food and a cozy atmosphere.✨ Just one thing I want to say some of foods are too salty and oily can be more lighter I think 💗
Tried the banquet menu at Moku Sydney and had a great experience. The food was good and the service was excellent. The ambiance is really nice, making it perfect for a date night or a quiet dinner. Their mochi ice cream was also delicious and not too sweet. I will definitely be back to try more of their other dishes. My only small critique is that they could probably invest in better chopsticks, as the ones they use felt a bit sloppy for the caliber of restaurant. For anyone wondering how to get here, it is a convenient ten minute walk from Museum station
I recently visited a hidden underground Japanese bar in Darlinghurst and really enjoyed the experience. The space is split over two levels with an intimate and sophisticated vibe, perfect for a relaxed dinner or drinks. The food and drinks were great, highlights for me were the hojicha duck breast, chicken tsukune, engawa don, and Sydney rock oysters. The mandarin cheesecake was a light and refreshing finish. Service was friendly and attentive, making the overall experience even better. Definitely a great spot for dinner and chill drinks ☺️
We went there for my birthday on Thursday night. The restaurant has a heritage style decor, the location was good. It has upstairs and downstairs. Downstairs has a cute small bar for drinks and snacks. The food was delicious, and the serving was good for 4 people. The waiter Josh was very professional, attentive, thoughtful and friendly. It was very enjoyable all around. Highly recommended!
moku’s vibes are the best of both worlds - you get an intimate dining experience with a great atmosphere and beautiful vibe. the food is stunning in presentation and taste, and the experience is second to none. i’ve never had bacon katsu sando before, but it’s so innovative ! the bacon is so fatty and juicy, paired with that delicious crispy exterior and the soft shokupan.. absolutely spectacular pairing. i can’t believe i hadn’t thought of it myself. their beef was cooked super tender, my grandma and mum both loved it too. same with their fragrant and buttery mushroom noodles, which were so light and delicate in taste. i highly recommend the potato gems, which are crispy one bite wonders. their tangy oysters are also creamy and delicious ! and of course, the best way to end the meal is with a matcha tiramisu - you cannot go wrong with that. overall a wonderful experience ! ☆ 🍽️ what we got 🍽️ - potato gem (8) - two oysters (14) - bacon katsu sando (23) - wagyu beef don (36) - braised mushroom noodles (28) - matcha tiramisu (16) - anything but peach (24)
