Service was great. Food came fast to our table. The black tonkotsu soup base was great. I would have preferred if the noodles were left firmer but it was still a good experience. I can recommend the vege gyoza and the lychee ice tea.
A nice, easy Japanese takeaway spot that’s quick and convenient. While it’s slightly on the expensive side, the quality makes up for it. Service is efficient and friendly, the premises are clean, and the location in a shopping centre makes it easy to access. The only thing is the gyoza could be improved (flavour wise) and served warmer.
I really enjoyed the food I ordered. The juice was the best, and the gyoza was delicious. The ramen tasted very authentic, although the noodles were a bit too soft for my liking—I prefer them a little firmer. Overall, the food was great and the service was excellent.
Ordered the spicy ramen and chicken satsuma ramen. However, the real star of the show was the seaweed fries and peach tea. Would go again just for that. If you have a membership, that combo is even cheaper!
We first discovered Motto Motto at Macquarie and were excited to see it finally open in Castle Hill. Overall, we don’t mind the food — it’s quite good and still reasonably priced. Like everywhere else post‑COVID, prices have gone up, but we’ve noticed the portions at Motto Motto have gone down compared to before. We recently had the tonkotsu ramen. The broth was pretty good, but the noodles were disappointing — very soft, almost like somen rather than ramen. The photos I posted show the difference between our visit in 2020 and our visit in 2026. Staff are polite and friendly, which we appreciate.
