Have been here quite a few times. Had a great experience at Niji Sushi Bar Hurstville. The food was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented, with plenty of great options on the menu. The service was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout the meal. Overall, a fantastic place for quality Japanese food. Highly recommend for anyone looking for delicious Japanese food and it offers great value for the quality of the food and dining experience.
My partner and I went here for Dinner on a Saturday night and were very happy with the experience. We didn’t have a booking but were seated very fast despite the restaurant being busy. The staff were all extremely helpful, the Bartender even came to our table to assist with one of the drink requests and was more than happy to make our request work. The food was all extremely fresh and presented beautifully. We had the Crunchy chicken roll, Wagyu roll and a variety of Nigiri. We chose the à La Carte menu but also liked that you could still order from the Sushi Train menu. We will definitely be back again!
Such a great experience! The food we ordered was absolutely delicious — highly recommend the spicy tuna, it was a standout. There is quite a big difference between the items on the menu and what’s available on the train though. The train options weren’t as good, but everything we ordered directly was excellent. Overall, really enjoyed it and would definitely come back!
This was an enjoyable dining experience if not a great one. The sushi is presented so well. The noodles were fine. The gyozas were a bit too hard on the bottom. The salmon teriyaki was up to par. It was quite a big space & the tables are enough apart. I would like to go back & try their lunch menu.
I’ve been coming to Niji bar for years and at the beginning it was amazing, it was local and amazing food worth the price. As time passed it started to become more expensive yet I was still going as I loved the food. As I went back recently (the past three times) the portions have gotten smaller, the quality has reduced drastically and the price just keeps rising. The last time I went the fish on the nigiri was so thin you could see the rice through it and I found that ridiculous, the I also ordered the salmon tacos which were practically stuffed with veggies and no salmon as well as the taco part being STALE. I really want to rate this place good because it used to be amazing but now the food just is not worth the price at all
