As I write this review, my partner and I (plus our little bub) are really enjoying all the dishes they on the menu, it all taste really good and the service, superb! You don’t really have to wait that long to have your orders served. Will definitely come back “multiple times” soon.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Akami Japanese Restaurant has been a family favourite for years, and we keep coming back. The food is consistently fresh, delicious and beautifully presented, and the service is always excellent. We also love the addition of the tablets at each table for ordering. It makes the whole experience smooth and easy, allowing you to enjoy your meal and conversation without constantly being interrupted. A fantastic dining experience every time. Highly recommended!

I love an AYCE spot but this one was kinda eh. You can look at my photos as that’s what we were given. Portions was fair enough as an ayce spot it’s expected portions are smaller. I can only recommend the carpaccio, everything else was quite mid in my opinion. The karrage chicken did not look or taste like ur typical karrage (as per photo), the takoyaki was okay but u cant go wrong with that but it was also missing sauce and wasn’t hot. We also had a few dishes not come out so we had to ask a few times but it’s okay. The steak was okay, the cold soba was decent too. Overall it was just okay. My partner enjoyed it and said he liked the sushi though, so it’s upto your preference.

Visited OKAMI Penrith for their Japanese all-you-can-eat and had a great experience. The menu has over 45 made-to-order dishes and the food came out fresh and well prepared. The premium sushi and sashimi platter was a highlight — fresh cuts with clean flavours and good texture. Beef carpaccio and agedashi tofu stood out, and the steak dishes were better than expected for an AYCE. Ending the meal with ice cream was a nice touch. Note: The premium sushi & sashimi platter is available for groups of 4 adults or more, must be booked before 3pm, is Monday–Thursday only, and is one platter per booking. Overall, a well-run AYCE Japanese restaurant and a solid choice in the Penrith area.

Okami is hands down one of the best all-you-can-eat Japanese restaurants I’ve been to. The menu has such a wide variety – from fresh sushi and sashimi to perfectly grilled meats, tempura, noodles, and desserts – and everything comes out quickly and beautifully presented. I love that it’s table service, so you can relax and order as much as you like without lining up for food. The portions are generous but not overwhelming, which makes it easy to try a bit of everything. My favourites were the chicken karaage, beef tataki, and salmon sashimi – all fresh and full of flavour. Service was friendly and efficient, with staff checking in regularly and making sure our orders kept coming without delay. For the price, the value is unbeatable, especially if you go with a group. The atmosphere is casual but modern, making it great for family dinners, birthdays, or even a night out with friends. Highly recommend if you want delicious Japanese food and great service at a very reasonable price! - One thing is that we just waited long on our sushi and sushimi
