This place is easily one of my favourite spots for a quick Japanese meal. I've tried: Hayashi Hamburger Don with Cheese - This is a 10/10! The hamburger patty is incredibly thick and juicy, topped with melted cheese and a rich, savory demi-glace sauce. Kurimu Shichu Chicken Katsu Don - If you want a break from the usual Japanese curry, try this. It’s served with a velvety white cream stew goes well with my crispy chicken katsu. Salmon Salad - I got this because it was a lighter option. Fresh salmon, got all the veggies and topped with roe. The service is fast, and the portions are great for the price.
Don’t expect anything surprise for its taste or texture. It’s just simply a cheaper option in the catering areas. The only thing I’d say is that the chicken meat should be light coloured, less seasoning paste.
Intro: A popular takeaway serving Donburis, Japanese Curries, Udons (soup/sauce) and many side dishes. Service: Staff were attentive and timely. Order was very warm and arrived in 9 minutes. Order/Food: 1 Salmon Teriyaki Don ($15.). Teriyaki Salmon, vegetables and a mountain of rice. Verdict: It's crowded for a reason: great value Japanese food, even if pre-cooked
I order here at least twice a week for my teenage sons who love the udon noodles and rice bowls (particularly with the terriyaki/karage/katsu chicken). Excellent value and well made tasty food. The service is also outstanding and always quick and very friendly. I would add a photo of the food but it gets eaten too quickly by the rampant mouths as soon as I arrive home!
Went here last week to try the sweet chilli chicken and it was sooo good 😋 I also had a bit of trouble using my gift card at the counter and started feeling bad, but Natalie was so patient and kind helping me through the payment until it finally worked. Really appreciate staff who still stay lovely and helpful to customers even after a long day 🫶 Thanks so much Natalie!
