Had an amazing experience at Shiba in Pyrmont! We tried the Chicken Katsu Curry, Grilled Salmon Roll, and Takoyaki. Everything was absolutely delicious and full of flavour. The katsu curry was comforting and crispy, the salmon roll was fresh and perfectly balanced, and the takoyaki was soft and tasty. Great food, good portions, and a lovely atmosphere. Definitely coming back again!
This cute little Japanese kitchen has an extensive menu. Lunch specials were good value and lots of options to choose from. The ramen, now new to the menu, was exquisite. Chewy thick style noodles and melt in the mouth cha siu. The sushi was very fresh. Look out for my mate.. Voltron
The sashimi plate was perfectly presented and very fresh and tasty. However the Wagu Beef sashimi was next level amazing! We had to order it twice it was so nice! Will definitely be coming back soon. A hidden gem!
We’ve been meaning to try Shiba’s Kitchen for ages, and it did not disappoint! The cheese katsu was so moreish, and the udon so bouncy. We loved the wide range of teishoku options, and the staff were very friendly as well - overall a great experience!
Pretty satisfied with the dinner set. The portions sizing was good and I was really full afterwards. Sashimi was of decent quality and the udon had a nice chewiness. The tonkatsu could be slightly less firm but was still good and crispy. Restaurant was super kid friendly and had baby chairs and soft utensils - overall seems like a nice place for families. There were also lots of cute shiba plushies as well. Staff are really friendly. This place is particularly convenient for guests staying nearby at the Novotel/ibis hotel - just a 5-10 minute walk away.
