Delicious Japanese fusion dishes, fresh and tasty food and a great atmosphere, décor. Visiting from New Zealand, we were lucky Niani, the FOH found us some seats. It's very popular and booking would be recommended. If staying in the area, walk-in after peak dinner time ~8:40 pm. Try the Sunset or/and wakaba rolls, and the double double gyoza, yummy food and great restaurant. Can't wait to be back again!

What a great spot. Arrived at the end of the evening and were so well looked after. Friendly, engaging and service with a smile from the great Team. Everything on the menu was excellent and portion sizes great. The atmosphere is fun and casual. A must visit for a great take on modern Japanese food. Well priced and excellent value.

I always leave things to the last minute, including booking restaurants. Therefore, it’s taken me forever to get into Sunset Sabi. Now I understand why. The food, service and vibe of this place is amazing. The prawn and scallop toast is the nicest thing I’ve ever eaten. Yummy.

First time dining at Sunset Sabi and it certainly won’t be the last. Very positive dining experience and I highly recommend this restaurant. This restaurant was actually recommended to me by one of the waitresses who works at the Basin in Mona Vale. Everything we ordered was sensational from the tuna and avocado sashimi, prawn toast and not to mention the tacos accompanied with the wasabi margaritas. Every dish was bursting with authentic Japanese flavours. I’m very much looking forward to coming back to Sunset Sabi and having another positive dining experience.

Great atmosphere and delicious food. Would highly recommend. I had one of the cocktails in the specials menu which was delicious. We then shared the prawn and scallop toasts, the chicken Kaarage, the double double gyosas, the dank roll and the nigiri plate. All were so tasty.
